Eva's POV
"Hey dad, have you packed the family photos?" This is the second time I have asked him, he's always so forgetful.

"Eva you know I have, just get in the car with your brother." He just looks at me and laughs.

I ask him why he laughed, all he says is "You remind me so much of your mother." I get a shiver down my spine whenever he says that.

My mom passed away a couple of years ago in a car accident, I don't really know what happened but what I do know, is that some drunk driver crashed into the side of my moms car causing it to tip over.

I felt a tear form in my eye as I.. "Eva." My older brother Ash nudges me.

"You okay?" He asks me.

"Yeah I'm good." I reply.

***

"We're here." Dad says joyfully whilst getting out the car. Now I know why he was in such a rush to move, it's so much better than our old house.

"Eva!" Dad shouts down the corridor. Then he hands me a big box full of my stuff. "Just go put it on your bed." He says.

I walk up the long stair case and into my room, for once I have a decent sized room. I used to always have a miniature room because I'm the youngest, I thought to myself.

I lift up the large duvet and I just lie there for hours thinking about my first day at school tomorrow and how people are going to act around me.

I eventually found myself falling asleep.

***

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock ringing down my ear, I get up and put on my clothes for today and head down stairs.

My dad hands me a biscuit bar and kisses me on my forehead. "You have a good day today." He says as I roll my eyes at him.

"I'm 17 not 10." I reply running out of the door.

***

This school is so much bigger than mine. I take out my phone so I don't look like a loner and walk into the girls locker rooms.

Dylan's POV
As I lift my head upwards I see a beautiful brunette with fairly olive skin and pail blue eyes.

For a moment, we had a connection. A very gentle connection. I could hear her heart soften until I could sense that she started to blush.

Probably because I had no shirt on.

"I'm Dylan... and you are?" I can hear her heart beat increasing as I heard a quiet response.

"Eva." She said in a very gentle voice. "I'm sorry wrong..." I stop her before she finishes her sentence.

"It's okay." Her heart beats fasters as she leaves the locker room in a hurry.

Eva's POV
I can not believe I just did that. A girl looks at me, I can see the confusion on her face. "I'm Krystal." She introduces her self.

"I'm Eva." I respond laughing. "I know I just walked out of the boys locker room." I say really embarrassed.

"I saw." She responds laughing. "Do you want me to take you to your lesson?"

I hesitate. "Sure I have maths."

***

I take a seat next to Krystal as our maths teacher is talking, I peer over my shoulder to see Dylan sitting in the far corner staring at me with his big brown eyes. I feel my cheeks go warmer as he smiled at me.

"Damn girl, Dylan Hawkins is crushing on you." Krystal whispers down my ear. I can feel my heart go faster as I give him a slight glance and I can see that he's still staring. Mr Davidson turns to Dylan.

"Give me the first three numbers of pi." Dylan looks up and starts staring at Mr Davidson.

"You don't know do you, Mr Hawkins, because you were to busy staring at Eva over here." We all wait for his response.

"It's true sir, I was staring at Eva." I somehow blushed even more. "But the answer you was looking for, is 3.14." We all turn back to face Mr Davidson.

"Very good, Mr Hawkins. Right, off you go class."

We all stumble off and I grab Krystal's arm like I've know her for years. I just need to get outside.

"Do you think he likes me?" I feel flushed as I opened my mouth and see him walking towards us.

"Talk of the devil." His hair is so dark and he smiles at me with that smile that makes me calm.

"I'm going to go." Krystal says awkwardly. Then she laughs and walks away.

"Hey. Again, sorry about earlier." I say.

"It's okay. I was wondering if you want to meet up for lunch tomorrow?" He says confidently as he walks closer to me.

I feel hesitant at first. I mean, it's a little weird a random stranger that I only just met asking me to go for lunch with him.

"Okay.. Sure. Pick me up at mine?" I said frantically.
