I Am A Race Horse (Completed)

I raise my head in shock as someone I recognize stands up and buys me.

My....my...old owner.

I can't help but be happy, I jump up in the air and kick out with joy.

He smiles at me and the man who led me in the pen led me back out.

He puts me back in the pen and my old owner greeted me.

"Hey boy. I can't believe that I finally got you back!"

He hugs my neck tightly through the pipe fence.

I nod. I am happy to have him back.

"You missed me didn't you buddy"

I nod. I sure did miss him.

"Ace, buddy. Are you ready to hop on the trailer and go for a run when we get home?"

Of course I am!!!

He grabs my lead rope and halter hanging on the fence and throws it on my gently.

He smiles and leads me out.

His old trailer is in sight and I cant help but jump up in the air. Placing my hooves above the dirt and in the sky with my small body.

My owner laughed.

"Hey, Tom!" Someone beside us yelled.

My owner replied..so his name must be Tom.

"I see that you finnally got Ace back! Good for you! He needed you...ya know I heard from others that the owner you sold him to was abusive to him and that is the reason that he was abonded here." The other man continued on.

"Oh don't I know...look at his body. He has marks all over him. Poor boy... I can't believe I sold him. I was foolish to do so..I knew that money was an issue but he was and us worth more to me than anything. Thank you for greeting me. But I really must get going."

"Ok bye and you do good with Ace. He deserves you and you deserve him!" the man replies and heads off.

Tom, my owner, he puts me in his rusty trailer and we head off.

I can't believe that I will be hone soon!

The trailer shakes a little bit as we go down the road but its not near as bad as that other trailer.

I look around the trailer smelling around it. It smells like home.

It is so familiar! Home. Home sweet home.

I raise my head up and smile. My top lip rolls and my goofy teeth show.
