Chapter 2: Little Things
The whole drive he kept on staring at me. Like he knew I did something horrible, which I don't think I did.
I didn't really mind him looking at me that's how people look at me when I'm mad or sad, but those emotions are what I feel this moment.
His light green eyes staring right at me.
I kind of feel threatened but also like I am cared for.
Once we've gotten home I locked myself in my room.
Thinking of the man.
The memory kept on replaying in my head, like a record that has been scratched.
I checked my room for anything that can take my mind of the scene, i saw my easel and decided to go and paint. Painting was my stress relevier so I thought if it worked for other things it has to work for this.
I put up my sound system for music, the old machine was dusty and dull. Cracked in every angle you can possibly imagine but to my suprise it worked. With nothing wrong with it. Choosing my music was not hard cause i only have two cds. Both of them by lana del rey.
This is heaven its what i truly want.......peace and quiet..... something that is nice but can be stolen away with to much thinking, and thats what I do in these times.
During the middle of my paintin my head throbbed with pounding bigger than what giants make, i remember sieng red and black in my perephiral vision and then just black.
***Mason P.o.V (changed it to third person but only for him)************
Mason heard a thud from upstairs wich made him call out his bestfriends name "Connor?!" he spoke with force. The thud sounded more harder than an object. Connor didnt reply.... just the sound of basketball announcers from the television were what filled the house.
Running upstairs he heard the shower being used. He quickly remembered why Connor didnt reply. He was in the washroom. All lights were off exept for the washroom and........"Amber's room." Mason said under his breath. He walked to her door he knocked and said "Amber you there," hesitating to go in her room.
He then got over it quickly for her and went in.what he saw got him in aw but he knew what was going on.
Mason saw that Amber was on the floor two kinds of things were next to her to the left were her pillows from her bed but the bed was two feet away from her.
To the right were things that were harmful in anyway. Pencils, thumbtacks, and scissors all of the items were up straight.
He looked at the ground then back at Amber his furrowed eyebrows following his eyes but then he stopped and started to think of feelings instead of logic.
Lifting her up he placed her on her bed and smiled at the simplicity of Amber not outstandingly pretty but she is cute.
Mason then picked up everything and started to pack his things for tommorow.
As Mason got ready he thought of Amber and what she did. He had seen that only once. The Magic Of A TerrainCaster.
