No! No! No! Jk Rowling confirmed on Twitter that none of the houses are equivalent to the Hogwarts houses. None are meant to be similar at all. Yes, some of the houses may have a type of magical cat, bird, snake, exedra, but who cares? Hogwarts and Illvermorny are two different Wizarding Schools, they aren't meant to be alike.

But it annoys me that people just put them together with the Hogwarts houses!
