Let GO of me!" She yelled. The young seven year old, watched in horror as the taller male tightened his grip. "No! I'm going to teach you a lesson you soon won't forget Ms. Walker," The male growled as he twisted her arm.
Every single muscle froze. The boy wanted to help, but couldn't. The boy felt powerless. The boy felt weak as he heard his own mother scream. "Your husband was stupid to not handover what I wanted, now you have to do it." The boy's mother just stared into his eyes in fear. "Give me your husbands research. Project S.I.H.R to be exact!" The boy's mother eyes widen. "N-no! I can't give that to you!" The man shook his head, laughing in annoyance. "And why not?" The male questioned, glaring daggers at the woman. "Because I don't know where it is," She said, avoiding eye contact.
"You don't know where it is? Ms. Travis, we both know that you are lying. I recommend you tell me where the research is or else." The woman shook her head, refusing to speak further. Anger clouded the male as he yelled "Then you will die!"
Then just like that, the man pulled out a gun and fired at the woman. Each bullet hitting her in different areas of her body. "Mum!" The boy screamed as he ran to his mother, crying. "Mummy! Wake up! Please wake up!" The boy sobbed as he shook the lifeless body. "You're wasting your time kid, she's gone," The man said with an emotionless look. "N-no! Mum!" The boy shook his mother harder. "She won't come back Mr. Walker and now you're all alone. Your daddy is in the other room, dead because he was stupid," The man said bending down to the sobbing, dramatised boy. "Once the police come, they are going to take you away. They will take you to somewhere awful. Now you can either stay and wait or go to where I tell you." The boy just stared, not knowing what to say. "Choose!" The man snapped, causing the boy to jump. He sobbed harder, not truly understanding what was going on. The man slapped the boy, causing him to fall on the ground. "I said choose!" The boy didn't respond from shock until the man kicked him, causing him to bang his head on the wall.

"G-go! Tell m-me where t-to go!" The man smiled.

"Central City. Go to central city and never come back." The boy stared, completely lost at this point. "W-why?" The boy managed to say, trying to control his tears. "Because, if you come back....I'll kill you. Just like your precious mother and father. But this time, I'll make sure it's slow and painful." Suddenly sirens were audible which made the boy even more afraid than he was. "Now run! Run kid and don't stop till you get there!" The man pushed the boy away before running deeper into the house.
The boy looked at his mothers dead corpse one more time, before running. He ran, and ran, and ran. He didn't stop, he just kept running.
He was alone.
He was afraid.
He didn't want to stop running.
He never wanted to stop running.
He wanted to go home.

It poured as the boy kept running, well more like jogging. He has been running for weeks.
His pyjamas were soaked in his sweat, mud, blood, tears and the rain. He was lost and cold. His feet burned in pain as his jog turned into walking. He was starving and dehydrated. He looked like he would faint at any time.

He looked around to see a small building. "H-h-hello?" The boy called out as he walked closer. "Anybody? I-I need h-help!" There was no response. The boy walked closer and closer. Suddenly barking erupted causing the boy to scream. Dogs, out of nowhere, chased the already soaked kid as he ran. He ran as fast as he could, even when the dogs stoped chasing, until he reached a sign.

'Welcome to Central City'

"Central City?" The boy mumbled. The boy stared in awe. "I made it..."
As he walked down the street, trying to keep his balance, he got weird looks from different people. Luckily that was all, until a cop noticed the kid. "Hey! Kid!" The boy jumped at the voice before breaking off into a sprint. "Come back! Kid!" The cop chased him while trying to make sure he didn't bump into anyone. Meanwhile the boy wasn't having a hard time navigating through the crowds.
Suddenly, a flash of red and yellow grabbed the boy. The cop finally caught up, breathing heavily. The boy struggled, fearing what would happen. "Hey! Kid! It's okay! Calm down!" The boy looked up to see a masked man who seemed to be wearing a full suit. "Thanks Flash."
The masked figure, The Flash, turned to the cop.
"Why is he so worked up? And dirty?" The Flash asked as he tried to keep his grip on the kid.
"I don't know...I saw this little kid walking the streets alone and when I tried to help he ran," The cop explained. "No!" The boy finally yelled. "I can't stop running! He'll get me!" The boy sobbed. "Kid! Calm down! Who will get you?" Right as the boy was going to answer, The cop shook his head. "He's probably a runaway. Hand him over so I can go find his parents," The cop said. "NO! I can't go back! I won't go back! Put me down!" The boy yelled, making a scene. "If it's alright with you Mr..."
"Lansbury."
"Mr. Lansbury! Uh I'll take him with me!" The Flash asked. "Are you sure? He seems to be giving you a hard time."
"I'm sure!"
"Alrighty Flash! Kids all yours!"
"Thanks!" With that, The Flash speed off, holding the kid tightly. "Cisco! I need you to call Joe for me and tell him to meet me at Star Labs!" The Flash yelled into his com. The boy closed his eyes, feeling nausea creep up.
"Well I have my hands full! Now can you please call him!" Suddenly they were at Star Labs, or that's what the boy assumed. "Hey Bar-uh Barry...did you kidnap a child?!" Kaitlyn shrieked. The boy jumped, and clang onto Barry for dear life. "No! First off why would I kidnap a random kid?!" Barry replied, noticing the clinging kid. "Okay fine...then why do you have a random kid with you?!"
"Look, I found him while I was running! He was screaming bloody murder when I grabbed him. He was screaming 'No!' Or 'I can't go back!' He refused to go with the cop so I brought him here!" Barry explained. "So! You can't bring every kid here! Even if they refuse to go with the police!" Kaitlyn pointed out. "I know that! But look at him! He's covered in mud! He's soaking! And there's blood stains on his PJs!" Barry replied. "Ugh! Okay, so what good would bringing him here do?"
"Maybe you could examine him? You know, since he looks like he could pass out any minute!" Kaitlyn mumbled something along the lines of 'You're lucky were friends Barry Allen.' Barry set the boy down smiling.
"Fine! Come on kid! Let's go!" Kaitlyn said, holding her hand out to the boy. He just shook his head and hid behind Barry. "Looks like somebody made a new best friend," Kaitlyn groaned. Barry laughed awkwardly "I guess so..."
------
------
"Well from what I can tell, he's dehydrated and under weight. Which is kinda odd, since you know...you'd expect a kid like that to be...uh...anyways!" Kaitlyn cleared her throat "He has a fever...he's also lacking a bunch of vitamins in his body, which could be from not eating...other than that, I noticed he has a bump on the back of his head. Which could possibly be from hitting it somewhere but it's healing, slowly." Kaitlyn said, turning to Barry. "Okay...that explains most of it...but why did he get so fussy about going with the cop. He acted as if the officer grown three heads and was trying to send him away to Hell!"
"Look Barry, It could be many things. But the most likely one it could be is past trauma. Which means something happened to him or somebody else that has completely dramatised him. But the only way to be sure is to ask him."
Barry nodded, staring at the sleeping boy. "Hey bar?" Barry looked up to see Joe. "Hey Joe!" Joe smiled until Cisco pushed past him. "And Cisco-wait! Why the hell is there a sleeping kid!" Barry shushed the boy, signaling for him to quiet down. "Sorry.." Cisco apologised. "Why is there a unconscious kid?!" Joe said, quietly looking at Kaitlyn for an explanation. "Hey! It's all Barry! I'm just the doctor!" Kaitlyn defended. Now, all eyes were on Barry. "Well you see..." Barry explained everything to the two males which took a surprisingly long time. "So let me get this straight, you brought a kid who was screaming and stained in BLOOD." Barry nodded. "Hey guys! What I-oh...and there's a kid past out..." H.R. looked at everyone. "I'll explain later," Barry said, not in the mood to repeat the whole story. "Got it!" H.R. said, picking up random things, trying to distract himself from the situation at whole.
Suddenly a groan, caused everyone to stiffen and freeze.
