You have all probably read stories of a black and white wolf being mates. But have you read one where the white wolf is a future alpha king. And the black wolf is a pup that has been stuck in her wolf form after being experimented on by human hunter...
I was having a meeting with the scientist along with Ginny and Ariel. They are doing a great job on their first day as Beta and Gamma. Yes, you heard me fight their first day. It isn't my first day as Alpha, just mt first official day. I have been the pack's Alpha for two years since I beat my dad in a fight. So I made the decisions while he signed the paper work. As I wasn't allowed to be an official Alpha until I was seventeen which now I am. So now I have to sign my own paper work with Ginny and Ariel's help of course.
"Alpha, the only thing I have found that can cure you is a bond with your mate. Nothing else has ever over come the serum" the scientist states. "But I assure you, I am still working on an other way" he says.
'Thank you, you are dismissed' I say nodding my head as Ginny translates. The scientist bowed his head in respect as he left my office. 'Where are our guests?' I ask Ariel.
"Last I saw of them, they were out on a run in their wolf forms. The prince is a white wolf and the other two are brown & grey. They are his future beta and gamma" Ginny states answering for Ariel.
"The grey wolf Charlie is very cute" Ariel says in a dreamy voice.
"Really, I think Jack the brown one is just gorgeous" Ginny says also in a dreamy voice.

'Looks like you two have found your mates early' I state dryly.
"What's wrong with that?" Ariel asks me.
'Have you two forgotten what we have worked so hard for? Why I trained and continue to train so hard for?' I ask them slightly annoyed.
"We haven't forgotten, but can't you just give Elijah a chance to prove himself to you?" Ginny asks.
'Fine send him here and keep his two friends company' I state knowing I couldn't win this fight. The girls nod their heads and leave my office as I look over the paper work. Mainly the information we have on the royal family. Elijah is an only child, both his parents still alive his dad has a brown wolf and his mum a grey & white wolf. Where as Elijah is a pure white wolf as I am a pure black wolf. We don't seem to have anything in common, so why did the moon goddess pair us up?

There was a knock at the door and my mate stuck his head in. "May I come in?" he asks and I nod my head. He enters the room and takes a seat across from me. "It nice to finally met you and may I congratulate you on your new position" Elijah says.
'I don't need or want your flattery' I state using our mind link. All alphas can communicate with others outside their pack. Even mates if they are not fully mated. 'You are here for only one reason' I say firmly.
"What would that be?" he asks curious.
'I know your pack gets reports from other packs once a week and as the prince you read them all' I state. 'Tell me have you noticed a difference in my father's leadership in the last two years?' I ask.
"Well I know after the Luna your mum died, he focused more on you and finding a cure then running the pack. Also that your gamma lost his mate and unborn pup shortly after. So it was only your old Beta Clark that really looked after the pack. Until someone brought your old Gamma back to his old self and he focused on training the new Beta and Gamma. About two years your father finally focused on the pack again and it was returned to it's former glory. Actually better then before your mum died" Elijah finishes.
'You got most of it right, but the thing is it was all me. I got Dave back on his feet and being Gamma again. I got tired of my dad babying me and not doing his duty properly as Alpha. So I challenged him to a fight two years ago and won. Ever since then I have run the pack while he signed the papers' I tell him proudly.
'So you see I don't need or want your help to run my pack. All you males are the same not seeing your mate as your equal. Only someone to raise the next generation and the mother of the pack. That us girls need to be protected and can't protect ourselves or make our own decisions' I state.
He went to say something, but I cut him off with a low growl. Gemma growled at me for stopping our mate. 'Don't even try to deny it, I know alphas are even more protective of their mates especially the royal ones. I also know since you saw me last night your protectiveness is stronger then a normal royal alpha. All because I am the size of a pup' I snapped.
'Don't think I don't know you tried to get my cousin to fight me so that you could take me back to the palace. News flash no one not even him has beaten my in a fight for four years. He has challenged me before and lost' I state. 'Now I am a fair alpha and am giving you a chance to apologize & to prove me wrong' I say calmly watching Elijah.
"But how do I prove that I see you as an equal? I am sorry for trying to undermine you, but you are my mate. Whether you like it or not I will always protect you & put you first. Just as your father does now and did for your mum" he states.
'Don't you dare bring my mother into this' I growl through the link standing to my full height. 'I am the alpha of this pack and you have no control here. You and your two friends are guests' I tell him. 'Now you were scheduled to leave tomorrow and expect you to be gone by noon' I say as I sat down looking at my paper work.
"Are you rejecting me?" he asks hurt.
'No, I can never do that to my mate. But I can't be with someone who doesn't see me as his equal. Like my dad saw my mum, she helped him make every decision in the pack before her death' I tell him not looking him in the eye. 'Now please leave I have a pack meeting to attend to discuss an extension to the pack house' I state.
"Of course, I'll see you later and I promise that I am never going to give up on you. I have waited four years for my mate and I'm not going to let you go" he says closing the door behind him. I smile shaking my head, I never expected him to give up so easily. Ginny and Ariel reenter the room followed by some other pack members. We started the meeting once they were all seated.
