MIRAZ'S POV:-

I glanced at the mirror, Meena was looking ahead and thinking to herself deeply. "Meena?" I called out loudly and pressed on the brakes. "Hey!" she yelled. "What are you thinking?" I questioned her ignoring her angry looks. "Nothing serious, start the bike" she said with a confused expression. But I couldn't buy her words, something was going on in her pretty little head. However, I couldn't force her when she is not ready. But damn, the curiosity was killing me. Unlike other days, she remained quiet, simply looking ahead and thinking. Other days she was loud, gossiping and teasing. No, something is definitely wrong. I planned on asking her about it later when she would be okay.

All of a sudden I felt guilty, was it for how I acted back then? I let out a sigh and then concentrated more on the ride as the traffic was increasing.

Half an hour later...

"Thanks, Miraz" Meena waved and walked inside her house. Miraz waited till she reached her room. He could hear her singing and making her way to her room on the first floor. He smiled to himself and then went back home.

MIRAZ'S POV:-

As soon as I entered my home, I found Javed running towards the garage with something hidden under his shirt. He didn't notice me. He was more focused whether abbujaan got his glimpse or not. I smiled evilly to myself.

"Won't it would be fun to spook that little punk?" I thought to myself. I followed him secretly. "what can he be hiding there? We didn't use the garage for many years" I thought. I was very curious. But when I reached there, there was no one! Puff, Javed vanished in thin air.

"Javed? Javed?" I called him. But there was no sound. "Mir?" my abbu called. "Yes, abbu!" I answered back instantly still looking for my little brother. "Come here once, I need your help," he said. "Yeah abbu coming" I answered and glanced at the dark and shady garage one last time before leaving.

"Where will he hide, I will get him next time," I thought to myself and went back inside.

JAVED'S POV:-

"Damn, that was close!" I thought as I closed the door to the secret room. I found this room about a year ago when I was aimlessly venturing around this old house. Who knew that this house would have a secret underground channel beneath the garage. After I found this place, I quickly started researching on this. Finally, after a month of research, the old imam told me that this house belonged to one of the great soldier's of the Mughal empire. He must have built it for his protection. It used to have another end, but I guess that is closed for now. Earthquakes did the trick, I thought!

No matter what, I was extremely happy that I had found it. I was looking for a spacious location for working on my experiment. It took me a year to finally get all the things in place and I had started the work only three months back. But the results weren't at all satisfying plus the financial shortage was bothering me to continue this experiment. However, I had immense hope. I wanted to build this, a life long dream you can say.

"Javed? Javed?" I heard Miraz call me. My eyes widened in fear. "Oh no, did he see me enter here?"I thought. Abbu will surely kill me if somehow he got to know that I had wasted a huge sum of my foreign study money on my 'dream'. My heart beats quickened. I peeked through the hole on the door. Miraz was looking for me. He looked worried. "Mir?" I heard the faint sound of my father calling him. I thanked Allah and got down slowly. After a while, I heard his retreating steps. I smiled to myself and sighed loudly at the mess that had formed in front of me. "Time to work!" I said to myself and started on my work.

....

IN CALL:-

"Tomorrow, we will start practicing all right?"

"Yes, Mir. Don't worry"

"Good, Good. I thought you will cancel it"

"Why would I? By the way send me the song you are planning to dance on."

"Yeah sure. Will you let me choreograph the whole routine? I have some amazing steps in my head"

"Yeah, why not? I know whenever you are so excited, you create something amazing"

"Amazing is still less for what is in my head"

"Great, that will surely help us win"

"We will win"

"Okay, fine, we will win"

"Hey, do you know what happened today?

"If you don't tell me, how will I know?"

"Meena!"

"Okay sorry, Tell"

"Today, after I returned home I found Javed sneaking something in the garage. I followed him but when I reached there, he vanished!"

"Vanished?"

"Yeah, I couldn't find him. He was nowhere. I called him and searched for him. But he was nowhere!"

"He must have been hiding somewhere"

"There is no place to hide there, girl. Later when I asked him he said he was not home at that time"

"He lied"

"Yes, he lied. I will find what the heck he is up to"

"Okay, good luck for your mission impossible but right now am very sleepy. I will meet you in college tomorrow bye. Good night!

"Good night, Meena darling"

.....

IN COLLEGE AUDITORIUM:-

"Miraz, I can't practice anymore, I am tired" Meera whined. "Just one last time, we need to perfect this, " Miraz said and played the music again. They started dancing on the beats but for some reason, Meena was forgetting a step which was irritating Miraz. "Meena, why are you forgetting this step every time?" Miraz scolded. "I can't take anymore. I am going home. We will continue this later, all right?" she said gently. For a moment, Miraz became angry but then he remembered what had happened the other day and agreed. "Good boy!" Meena complimented.

"Don't worry, we will resume the practice the routine at my terrace after nightfall" Meena added. Miraz smiled listening to that. "That's like my good girl", he said and punched her cheek lightly. "Okay now let's get going", she said.
