MEENA'S POV:-
I went back and grabbed my coat and purse. I struggled to push through the crowd but I reached to the washroom successfully. "Peace" I thought as I entered the ladies washroom. It was a sound-proof washroom. But the dizziness had not faded away. I washed my face quickly and felt a little better. I could hear someone puking in one of the toilets. I felt bad for the girl.
"Are you all right, in there?" I asked loudly to whoever was in.
"Yes, thank you!" She informed.
I pulled out my handkerchief and dried my face. I had to redo all my makeup as I had washed it all off. I quickly grabbed my makeup kit and started with it again. After a while, a tall pretty girl emerged from one of the cubicles. She looked drained. She washed her face and then looked into the mirror.
"Are you feeling better now?" I asked.
"Yes! But not fully" she answered.
"Do you want to take medicine? I have some!" I informed.
"Yes, thank you!" she said.
I pulled out the tablets and handed her one. She pulled out her bottle and drank it. Soon the main door opened and in came some guys. I was just going to protest when I recognized the same faces.
"Oh, wrong room!" he said with a wicked smile. But they didn't leave.
The four of them entered and closed the door behind.
"Hey, go out. This a ladies washroom!" I protested.
He ignored me. The other woman also repeated the same thing but they didn't react. They were clearly very drunk. They started moving towards us. Suddenly, I got very scared the way they were looking at me. Then I realized I hadn't worn the coat yet.
"Hey, back off! We will start shouting" The other girl threatened. They looked at her.
"Mahendar, get that girl out of here. We don't need her!" Their leader ordered. Two of them walked to the other girl and dragged her out of the washroom. She screamed and kicked as they manhandled her out. I thought that it was my only chance to go out. I ran towards the door forgetting everything but before I could, that guy grabbed me by my waist and pulled me back. After leaving the girl outside, they came back in and closed the door again.
The girl started screaming at the door. She kicked the door but it was not helping anyway.
"Let go of me!" I screamed as I struggled to get his arm off me.
He laughed evilly followed by the other men.
"I was waiting for so long to have you like this!" he whispered in my ear. He pushed me on the wall behind and pinned my hands beside my head.
"Help" I screamed loudly.
"Miraz" I screamed
The banging on the door stopped. I realized the girl must have left to call someone, maybe Miraz!
The creepy guy started to kiss my neck and in defense, I stamped on his feet with my sharp heels. He screamed loudly. I smirked and quickly opened the door and left before they could understand what happened. I mingled with the crowd. I didn't even look back at them and searched for Miraz. He was sitting near the bar speaking to a guy. I grabbed his arm quickly. He looked at me and furrowed his brows.
"What's the matter, Meena? What happened?" He asked. It was then I realized how scared I really was. "Look you are sweating so much! Did you see a ghost or something?" he asked followed by a giggle. I touched my forehead and felt how I was terribly sweating. "Please, just come out. I don't want to stay here. We will return when the dance-off begins!" I quickly explained and started dragging him outside. He followed me but he kept on asking me what had happened. But I was in no mood to answer his questions.
We had almost reached the exit when suddenly I heard those perverts again. "Look, there she is!" one of the shouted. One look at them and my natural instinct was to run away with Miraz. But Miraz stood as a statue at that spot.
"Come, we have to run!" I scolded him. "Were these people bothering you, Meena?" he asked. I went silent and watched his face. I knew he was going to start a fight with them if I would say a yes and I didn't want that to happen even though I knew it properly that they were going to lose. But I still didn't wish Miraz to get hurt.
As I was thinking deeply what should I answer, Miraz almost screamed angrily, "Were they bothering you, Meena?". The whole club went silent. The DJ stopped the music. A bartender hastily dialed someone and asked him to come inside!
Those guys started coming towards us. "Leave her, she is ours!" the same guy said in a slurry voice. He tried to grab my hand but before he could Miraz got hold of his hand and grabbed it tightly. His strong grip made him scream loudly. He tried to push his hand with his other one but failed. Miraz was way too strong for him.
"Miraz, don't hurt him. We are in public place not in our locality" I whispered. He kept on glaring at the guy and then slapped him. The poor guy fell on the ground. Soon after I heard the cop vehicle sirens outside. By the time, the club guards had also arrived but they were a bit late.
Two-three police barged in the place. Following them was the same girl. She looked at me and smiled. I had no reaction to give her. I was furious at her and also a bit traumatized. It was absolutely foolish of her to go get the police herself instead of informing the Club manager.
"Sorry for leaving you! After I had rang up the police, I had fainted!" she explained. I nodded and felt guilty. I knew she was sick. "Are you okay now?" I asked. "No, I am still not feeling good!" she managed to say and again fainted. I grabbed her before she could hit the floor. I noticed she had already bruised her head from the fall last time.
The police took away those perverts and the same environment was back again. The music started and people started dancing again. I looked at Miraz. He looked quite shocked. "You all right?" I asked. He nodded. "Who is she?" he questioned. I made the girl sit on a seat nearby. "She is a friend" I managed to lie.
"Will you please dial for the ambulance, she is not well!" I told him. He quickly pulled out his phone and informed the location. In around 20 minutes the ambulance arrived and they asked us to go with her. So, we went to the hospital and I explained them everything while Miraz was away, sitting alone. They got all her information and family phone numbers on her phone. So, we left after leaving our details there. It was already time for our dance-off to start.
I was not at all confident that it was going to be a win-win for us this time. We were both in a state of shock with whatever that had happened. "I really shouldn't have brought you here. Your mom was right!" he said all of a sudden as we were going back in an auto. "No, it's fine. These things happen. Let's concentrate on the dance-off, shall we?" I replied with a smile to cheer him up. He smiled back. As we reached, we realized it had already started. We were lucky, ours was the last.
We danced perfectly and got the prize money also. Miraz was so excited and happy. I couldn't take my eyes off his handsome happy face. For a moment we had forgotten everything that had happened that night and celebrated. He suggested we should drink to celebrate. Since free drinks for the night was also along with the prize and I never say no to free stuff!
So, that night we drank and drank. We laughed and joked. Danced a lot and then it was time to go back home. Miraz was fully drunk but I still was a bit okay. Not completely okay but enough to get back home. I dialed Sarfaraz and asked him to come at the place to help us go home. He came quickly. He got us an auto to go home and he brought Miraz's bike. We stopped at Miraz's place first. I was not sure how his father would have reacted seeing him like that, so I thought about leaving him secretly at his room upstairs which goes through the kitchen.
