I woke up in the early hours of the morning. As my eyelids flutter open I realise that I'm not in my own bed. I look around the room and realise I'm in Elijah's. That's weird. Usually I only sleep in one of the boy's rooms if I had a bad night. As I'm thinking, everything from yesterday came flooding back into my head. Jacob not believing me, me running away, the boys looking for me.
I slowly get up. I look at the clock on his drawer and realise it's 4.00am. I tiptoe quietly out of his room to not wake him up. The boys are gonna lecture me so much.
I quietly step into my room. I grab some sweatpants and a sweatshirt. I then jump into my shower. As I'm in the shower I think about what I'm going to say to my brothers. I'm definately gonna steer clear of Jacob though.
I soon get out of the shower once I feel squeaky clean. I then change into my clothes. My shower didnt take long and by the time I walk into my room I realise it's 4.30.
I realise just how hungry I am and make my way into the kitchen. Luke and Carter are in there getting ready to leave. I just keep my head down and pray they don't notice me, but luck is not on my side and Carter had to notice.
"Libby. We need to talk."
"We really don't." I replied.
"We really do." Luke added.
By now we were all sitting at the table.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"What's wrong? What's wrong is that you ran away yesterday and you didn't come back until it got dark! That was so dangerous Liberty Tomas! I am appalled." Carter said.
I just looked down.
"Baby, we are very disappointed, but we know why you ran away. But that's still no excuse. We're just so glad you came back. Safely." Carter added.
"I'm sorry." I whispered, looking down.
Soon I was engulfed in a giant hug from Luke and Carter.
They kept lecturing me but also comforting me.
"There, there, little one." Luke said as he patted my back.
"I've got to work now." Luke said sadly. "I love you!" He added as he kissed my cheek and headed out the door.
It was now only 5.00. Damn I'm ready pretty early.
Carter placed a plate of bacon and eggs infront of me.
"I have to leave too! I'm late! I love you!" Carter said while he was frantically looking for his keys. He eventually found them, gave me a hug and made his way out the door.
As soon as I was finished my breakfast I got a chocolate milk out of the fridge and skulled it down. As soon as my tummy was pleased I checked the time again. Only 6.00.
I walked into my bathroom and tied my hair up in a pony tail. I looked in the mirror. I looked terrible with my sweatpants and sweatshirt, but I generally didn't care.
It was now 6.30. I went into the lounge room and grabbed a blanket. I wrapped it around myself and plopped onto the couch. I then started watching a movie.
About halfway through the movie the twins walked in.
"Morning." They said in unison.
"Same." I replied. Wow. Same. Nice one Liberty. Nice.
"What time is it?" I asked as they jumped on the other couch.
"7.30." Jonah replied.
I quickly got up and ran to my room. When I got there I put on my shoes and socks. I then grabbed my backpack and ran downstairs into the kitchen. I chucked a sandwich, a donut, a juice box and a yoghurt in there. It was only when my bag was packed that I looked up from what I was doing and realised Levi and Jacob were watching me.
