Chapter 3

Wow. . .

That was all I could say to this guy. . One, he was totally and completely dreamy! He had eyes the color of coffee, and wavy brown hair that fell just above his eyes. It gave him that, bad boy look.

Of course, when he smiled at me he didn't look bad boy at all.

Just well, Perfect!

"I-I-I'm sorry. ." I stammered standing up straight, when I realized his hand was still around my waist, I blushed ferociously and quickly stepped back.

"No problem." He said grinning at me, but then it quickly faded and was replaced with a scowl, "Are you okay?? Gosh, I'm sorry, Did I hurt you?"

He placed his warm hand on my forehead, and I cringed back even more.

I flinched and felt my blush go a deeper red and spread all over me.

"I-I-I. . ." I mumbled, "I have to go. ."

I ran around him and dashed to my class.

I usually walked around and people watched for anybody who would seem like a friend I could have.

Today was different.

All I could think about was those dreamy dark brown eyes. . .

The way his hand caught me. . So instinctive and strong. .

I didn't even have problems finding my class.

That's new. .

Yeah, well, you heard conscience. I almost never find my classes easily. . . It's like a miracle.

"Today might actually be the best first day I've ever had. . " I thought.

I was about to be proven wrong.

"Hey, you!" A girl's voice echoed through the home room class I was in.

I looked around to find the most perfect example of a doll and her little look-a-like minions.

Let me tell you, she basically WAS a blonde barbie, with a real model's body. Both of the two girls next to her had a nasty sneer on their faces, but other than that they would be kind of pretty too, I guess.

Hello!! They're talking to you! My conscience shouted.

"Me???" I squeaked. Hoping they weren't talking to, you know,me.

"Uuuh, no I was talking to the little puny nerd over there." she said sarcastically pointed to a boy, who was no doubt a nerd, with her perfectly manicured nails.

He looked down and blushed.

The little minions laughed like an annoying, tinkling bell, but when the leader put her finger up, they stopped immediately. Like robots obeying their commander. . .

She gave me a glare that made me so nervous I was shaking.

"I was talking to you, you freak! And you're sitting in MY-!!!" She would have finished but someone interjected.

"Kary, babe, leave her alone. Sit in the seat next to me instead." said a VERY familiar voice.

I looked up and saw the same eyes that had pierced mine at the door.

He grinned and winked at me. Quickly putting his eyes back to Kary's, placing his hand on her shoulder.

I immediately blushed.

"But, Justin! She's sitting MY seat!" Kary whined, sticking out her lip in what she thought was a cute manner.

"Come on, Kary, you're not gonna cry over spilled milk are ya? Just leave it be." Justin said in a little bit of an annoyed tone.

Kary gave Justin the most heartbroken look and sent me down with another death glare. She almost threw her stuff in the seat across the room, where Justin was sitting apparently.

She sulked in her seat, sending pins and needles my way with her eyes.

Sulking seemed like a good idea..

I wanted to be gone. . . This 'Kary' was sending me bad vibes...

That went well. . .I think you have a new friend! You always find a friend the first day right?

My ever loving conscience said it SO sarcastically, you could hear the criticism and serve it on a plate.

Shut it, conscience. .

Anyway I hope you understand that my writer's block for this story had been pounding on me... And I really had to focus on "The Life of Karen". . . So I couldn't write in here for a while-_-
