Anthony's POV
"W-What?" Jasmine asks, looking back between me and Oak. "Is that true?" I really messed up. Last time, it wasn't my fault, but this time it is. Oak nodded. "He told me not to tell you, that he was just drunk, but I had to tell you. It wouldn't be right if I didn't."
Jasmine's eyes were glossy, like she was about to cry. I really messed up. Like a lot. I still couldn't believe I did that. I'm such an idiot.
"I-It it true?" She asked again, looked at me directly in the eye. "... Y-Yeah..." I mumble. I single tear runs down her face. "How was it?" She asks slowly. I was confused. She was crying but she seemed so calm. "How was it knowing that you broke someone's heart? Someone who loved you!" I stared at the ground. I knew I deserved it.
"I-I'm sorry." I apologize. "No!" She yells. "Sorry isn't gonna cut it this time!" She looks at Oak, giving him a look that tells him to leave, so he steps out the door and closes it behind him. "You know, I am mad at the fact that you cheated on me, but what enrages me is that you told Oak, one of your best friends, not to tell me." She says. I can see the anger in her eyes. Man, I really messed up.
"Did you really think you could get away with it?! That you could just continue on with your life? Like it didn't even happ-" I cut her off. "She means nothing to me. I love you." She laughs bitterly. "She clearly meant something to you considering you were making out with her!"
"Leave." She whispers. "What?" I couldn't believe what was happening. "I said leave!" She yells taking a step towards me. "Please, Jaz, you can't, I love you. Please." There is a solemn silence before her hand hits my cheek.
"Congratulations," She yells. "On successfully letting me and our daughter down!" She grabs my shoulders and pushes me out the door. "Congratulations." And with that she slams the door in my face.
