New year special || Kagehina - Oneshot au

A new year special, 1st year anniversary of this acc, and my birthday! !~

Shoyō and Tobio met one day when it was raining. They were both homeless, they didn't know where their family go. Now, the orange haired kid and the dark blue haired kid lives in a small house that they could barely effort. Now Kageyama is 19 years old and Hinata is 15 years old.

"Hinata! You're not wasting your time playing voleyball right?" Shouted a voice from the living room. Kageyama is the one that always is really careful since he is older than Hinata by 4 years. While Hinata, you could say that he is a mess.

The wanna-be-volleyball player ran back to the living room, "Uh no, anyways you're not working?" He asked back while his gaze was locked to the other male. Kageyama shrugged, "I have no shifts today" his tone was full of disappointment.

"Kageyama-kun, I'll go out for a bit okay?" Hinata cheerfully waved before he took out his own personal bike that he's really proud of. Like really.

The dark blue haired male gave a nod.

Hinata always loved cycling, it's like the best thing for him. He could see the sun setting down as stars in dim light goes up, he stopped at a normal place he used to go and shop in. It was a market, not too big and not too small. Action figures and posters were usually placed at the counter.

The orange haired kid smiled when he saw the best thing everー a poster of the small giant that he really admires. He really wanted to go to Karasuno for school, too bad for him because Kageyama couldn't make him into school because of their budget.
"Oh hi Hinata! Stopping by again?" The kid's eyes averted from the poster on the wall to the best shopkeeper ever.

Short blonde hair that was tied to the side, a smile that Hinata couldn't forget and brown eyes. "Ah! Yachi-san! You have work today? I didn't know" he laughed at the girl.
Yachi was a part-time shop assistant at the market, she does this to give charity for kids.

They both had the longest chat before Yachi stops, "Hey Hinata?" She silently called out. Driving Shoyō's attention back to her. "You do know that New Years is today right?" She asked. The orange haired kid gave her a sly smile, "Well.. We never really do anything at New Years because of our budget" he calmly said as if he doesn't care about celebrations.
A small chat came on and the day was getting late.

"I need to go home or Kageyama is going to worry about me.." Shoyō grabbed his bike while leaving the market. The stars are nearly up and the moon has woken up to shine the night. It was cold that night, and Hinata can't see anyone in streets.
Probably celebrating New Years. A sentence popped out in his head.

His house was dark, and a small note was placed on the wooden door.

To: Hinata

Oi! It's me Kageyama!
I'm locking the house because I need to do some things.
Meet me at the park so I could give you the keys.

The small sunshine child grunted when he read the note, he turned his bike's direction to the park. "Bakageyama, he should've gave me the keys" he muttered.

However, the park was also dark and no one could be found. Hinata stopped near a tree before he walked on his own to the center of the park. "Where is he? What is he even doing in this place?" He murmered, both of his hands were clutched together.

From the distance, fireworks randomly blew and lights started to come on at the statue of a plant in front of him. "Wha?!" He stuttered, his legs to move back on its own. The lights danced in front of him, also with music. Everything was amazing.

"Are you happy, Hinata?" A familiar tone echoed from behind, it was Kageyama. He had a smile plastered on his face which is really weird because he never smiles. "Happy New Years, Shoyō" he smiled. Behind him was everyone; Yachi, Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, Sugawara, Daichi, and all other neighbors with all of Shoyō's friends.

Tears soon dwelled up as the kid gave a laugh.

Tears streamed down non-stop from his cheeks.

"Thank you Kageyama. Thank you so much"
