What in the world was I witnessing? My best fucking friend making out with the girl that gain access to my mind and heart. I feel like walking over there and snapping Zayn's neck. But I can't. He's my best friend and she's just a girl.

Just a girl, just a girl, just a girl I say over and over again clenching my fist

"I'm sorry, I guess you lost your chance" Erica says giving me an pity smile

"What ever" I murmur and storm off

Idon't know where I'm going but anywhere else is better than here. This is a mess and it's all my fault. I can't blame Zayn or Nessa. I was an idiot back then and I deserve whatever happens to me now.

But I just can't believe it. My best friend went and stabbed me in the back like that.

you were never going to get a chance with her anyways

My subconscious mocks

I walk out of the club and into the chilly midnight air. The streets of New York City are deserted and I decide to scream. I scream in frustration for not knowing what to do at the moment. For feeling like this over a girl I barely know. For never liking someone before. For everything.

After I'm done screaming like a bitch I walk away with the little dignity I have left.

I have no Idea what to do or where to go. I don't have a car so I can't drive and a taxi is going to charge me way too much to take me back to upstate. I don't want to be around Zayn so I can't go back inside the club.

The only thing I can do is call someone. But who?

I take out my phone and look at all my contacts. I scroll down the list until one name pops out. Liam. He still lives in the city and he knows a lot about love and feelings. He could definitely help me out.

He picks up on the third ring.

"Yeah what's up?"

"Hey Liam, is this a bad time?" I asks, he's voice sounds deep with sleep

"Um sort of, what is it?" He yawns

"Sorry If I woke you up, I just need a place to crash for the night" I feel horrible for waking him up

"It's okay, you can come over as long as you bring me some booty" I could feel him smiling on the other side of the phone

"You never change Liam" I laugh

"Nope" He simply replies and hangs up

I take a taxi to 59th street and Lexington. After high school Liam was planing to go away for college, but his girlfriend Sophia tied him down. He gave up on his dream of getting out of the city and instead went to Columbia University where he draws comic book figures. He even has a high paying job.

I arrive at his building in ten minutes where he's waiting for me outside. He's wearing a bathrobe and slippers

"You didn't have to wait outside man" I tell him as I climb out of the car

"Yes I did. There's no security guards at 2 in the morning, who was going to let you in?" He asks embracing me in a hug

"True. It's good to see you man" I say after the embrace is over

"Good to see you too. What brings you to the other side?" He opens the door

"I was in a night club" I say as we walk inside

"Alone?"

"No, I was with Niall and Zayn" I bitterly say

"Did they ditch you?" He asks as we get inside the elevator
