Grim Road - Chapter 17

Jadeyns POV

Ugh! What time is it? I rolled over in my bed to discover three things.

1.     I had a massive headache

2.     I was naked

3.     There was someone in my bed

Number one I could deal with some Advil’s.

Number two I was a little confused about but number three was something I was not used to. Ever and something I hoped I wouldn’t get used to.

The person rolled over and I could just see a little f there face so I looked closer to see who they were. I sighed with relief when I realized it was Ash.

But what had happened last night? The last thing I could remember was Felis driving us to a random club and us sneaking in because apparently we looked 21.I personally think it was because the bouncer though Jackie was hot and she slipped him her number.

I sat up slowly rubbing my head trying to remember the more of the night but I just couldn’t I groaned and pulled on some comfy clothes. I also remember that we have to go to the cemetery today. I pulled out my little medical kit and took two Advil’s. Ugh! I feel so bad! I grabbed my book and settled back into bed.

Ash groaned and snuggled closer to me. I laughed and started to stroke his hair.  He snuggled into me obviously awake. I looked down at the boy beside me. I actually think that I may love him. I am not sure I do but I really did have strong feeings for him.

“Why don’t I remember anything? And why does my head hurt so much?” He mumbled into my stomach.

“I have no idea either.”

He groaned and mumbled something into my stomach.

“What was that?” I asked.

“ I can’t believe we have to go searching for a spirit today” he complained.

“I know.” I said and I kissed his head.

“I want to stay here forever.”

“Me too.”

I sighed, leaned back, closed my eyes and tried to clear my head. But one thought kept on coming back to me. Did Ash and me do the nasty? Did it really matter anyways? Of course it did! It was my first time anyway!

My mind snapped out of my mental argument when I heard Ash snoring. I smiled down at him. I lent down and kissed his head.

“Good Morning.”

I checked the time, which was a surprising 11:46. I shuffled down in the bed and started to read again but I couldn’t concentrate on anything so I just put it down and layed down next to my boyfriend.

Felicity’s POV

Where am I? My head hurt like h*ll! I sat up quickly and looked around. I was in a hotel room and I think it was mine… I saw a breakfast trolley near the door so I swung my legs out of bed. I felt something under my feet so I looked down and I saw my shoes. That’s when I noticed I was still wearing my dress. What happened last night? I groaned and stepped over my shoes. I walked over to the trolley and saw a note. I picked it up and read it

Felicity, I don’t know if you remember last night but I do because I was our DD (Designated Driver) After our very long and fun night on the town I took you all home. Jackies up in your room and I put you down here in mine. I left Jaden and Ash to do whatever they want to do and I took to your room and put you to bed. He left his cell number and I sighed dreamily. How cute is he! I think I had fallen for him but I had no idea how to explain it or what we were going to do when I left but for now I am going to enjoy it. Damn! I remembered that we had to go to the graveyard today. I rolled the trolley towards my bed and dug in to the delicious eggs and pancakes.

We met in the lobby at 3:00pm and we all looked pretty crappy.

“ The bouncer from last night has called me like 20 times.” Jackie complained.

“Well he was alright I guess. Maybe a 7.” I said.

“Wait, do girls rate guys too?” Ash asked confused. “I thought only guys did that!” He started looking around frantically. “What am I?”

“You’re a 10 baby.” Jaden kissed his cheek.

*cough cough eight and a half cough cough*  Jackie didn’t try to conceal what she said and I burst out laughing.

Ash looked worried but he calmed down after Jaden started to whisper something into his ear.

“Are we going now or when?” Jackie asked.

“How about we go to lunch first?” Ash suggested.

“No thanks, I had a big breakfast.” I patted my stomach and sighed satisfactorily.

“Well we didn’t so let’s go!” Jaden pulled Ash’s hand towards outside.

“Hey, Can I come?” I heard a voice and I turned to see Michael at the desk.

“Uh,” I looked around at my friends and thet shrugged. “Sure. But what about your job?”

He looked around and gestured with his hand. “Does it look like anyone is here?”

“No, Okay where should we go?” I asked.

“There’s a really good French place down the road. It has the best crepes and Toast!” He said.

Jackie’s stomach rumbled almost on cue and we all started to laugh.

“We better go then.” Jaden chuckled and we walked off down the road.

Jaden’s POV

I felt like I was going to explode! I leaned back in my chair and rubbed my belly. “ Ugh! I am sooo FULL! Sorry if I throw up on any of you, I am kinda sorry.”

Ash put his arm over my shoulders and he buried my face in my shoulder. “I know what you mean those crepes were freakin delicious.”

We had eaten Pancakes, Crepes and French toast. I had eaten at least two of each I couldn’t remember.

Michael chuckled. “ It’s always fun to watch first timers.” He had only eaten one crepe and a piece of French toast and Felicity hadn’t eaten anything because as I had been told Michael had brought her breakfast. They were turning into a cute couple. Except for the fact that he had originally tried to hit on me. That was the only thing that scared me.

I felt Jackie nudge my side. I leaned down and she whispered in my ear. “Should we tell Michael about everything?”

Hmm…. I mean we probably will never see him again. Why the h*ll not? “Sure.”

And that’s how 2 hours later the five of us were squished into My car heading to a graveyard.
