A Broken Piece (ON GOING REVISION)

First Piece.

           Have you experienced a scenario that you really love someone but you don't want them back? It hurts, right?

          Saying 'I love you's are like knives given to you by anybody who wants you to suicide. They poke a hole through your heart and slice them into bits until nothing is left with you. You gave every single love you can give to someone that you want,  wishing that they might return the same favor to you. But, not everyone is lucky. Not everyone can receive and fulfill the love that they deserve. Someone like me.

Elliot: Cath ano bang dapat kong gawin? Pagod na ko.
Cath: If pagod ka na talaga, then rest. Pero kung magbbreak na naman kayo pakisabihan na lang ulit ako kung kayo na ulit ha?

            Argh! They've becoming a pain in the ass. This effin' bestfriend of mine keeps blubbering about his girlfriend for the nth time. Kung magbbreak kasi edi magbreak. Jusme. Akala naman niya siya lang ung may pinoproblema.

Elliot: Ayoko ng makipagbalikan.
Cath: Seriously? Narinig ko na yan. Ilang beses na nga eh. Gasgas na yan!
Elliot: I'm serious.
Cath: Weh? Gano ka serious?

          He didn't reply after that. Hala! Napikon ko na kaya siya? Kanina pa kasi kami nag uusap about sa gf niya. Obviously they've been on and off since, hmm, I don't know. A month or two? I think its the latter or baka more than pa nga. I lost count. Well, you can't blame them. Not all LDR are successful but they've been together for like 5 years. Of course not all the time they have been away from each other, its just a couple of years. They were together on their 1st yr but not on the 2nd. Then he went back here in the Philippines on their 3rd year and return to where he went up until today.

          Nasa australia kasi tong bestfriend ko na to. Our friendship blossomed by the time na paalis na siya which is our third year in high school. We never lost contact after that. I don't know how pero one day napansin ko na lang na lagi na kaming magkatext a few weeks before siya umalis which is weird kasi isa siya sa pinakamalanding lalaki sa room namin ever since 1st year. Akalain mong nagka gf agad right after the start of the class? Hanep. While, I, on the other hand, is the silent crazy type of gal. I prefer to be alone than to be surrounded by non sensical noise so I used to drown myself in the melody of music. Kilala nila ako as 'Sungit' which is a total and completely opposite of him kaya iwas talaga ako sa kanya since 1st-mid 3rd yr.

         
            Back to what I'm saying, Elliot told me na hindi na daw maganda ung relationship nila. They were arguing about simple, petty things na minsan kasama naman talaga sa relationship but iba na daw ngayon. Ung sobrang liit na detail eh lumalaki na daw hanggang sa break up ang ending then magiging sila ulit then so on and so forth kaya ito, pagod na daw siya.

            After 20 minutes, our chatbox notified and he sent me photos. Screenshots, rather. It was a convo between him and his gf and yeah, there it is. They've broken up. Again. But this time, he told the girl na wag na daw sila mag usap which is kinda shook me up.

Cath: Wait, are these for real? Like the truth?

Elliot: Yes. I told you I'm serious. Pagod na talaga ko Cath. Paulit ulit na lang kami. I can't give her any more trust. I've been giving it to her ever since she started going out with another guy, knowing na isang beses niya lang gagawin yun. I gave her a chance too many times pero wala pa din. She hasn't change. She said she loves me pero bakit ganto? Kung mahal niya ko dapat ako lang. Bakit kailangang may iba?
