NIALL'S P.O.V.

Fucking shit.

Fucking shit.

Fucking shit shit shit shit.

It's okay, I mean, maybe she didn't see it.

Who the hell am I kidding?

She did see it and me avoiding eye contact definitely isn't making it better, but I can't think of anything to say in order to explain myself.

Ameila can't know about Barbara and Barbara would be pissed as hell if she found out about Amelia.

I can feel Meilie's eyes on me but I still can't think of what to say. Why is this so hard?

The cab stops and the driver announces our arrival to Cammon's. I pay the fee and slowly climb out of the car. Amelia follows closely behind.

"Who was that who called you?" Amelia asks even though I know she knows the answer.

I hate when girls do crap like that but that's not my main issue at the moment.

"It was my Dad." I lie.

Meilie bites her bottom lip. "Oh okay." She says, tucking her hair behind her ear.

She knows I'm lying.

I'm such an asshole.

AMELIA'S P.O.V.

They're dating.

I'd bet my life that they're dating.

Like I said; I'm not a Directioner, I just like some of their music. I don't follow them in the media so I wouldn't really know about their love lives. Are people saying anything about Niall and Barbara?

I have half a mind to take out my phone and discreetly Google it right now, but I decide against it.

Why am I so upset anyway? It's not like Niall is my boyfriend or anything. We're friends.

Just friends. The words come into my head before I can stop them. I quicken my pace in an attempt to escape my own thoughts.

Niall holds the door open for me and I quietly thank him as I enter the restaurant.

I study the place; it's fairly small. There's the podium in front of us, the tables behind the podium, and various framed pictures on the wall. A small bar sits to the far left of the room but it looks closed and I figure it's because it's not even noon yet. There's not an aquarium in sight and for that I breath a sight of relief.

I glance at his face as we silently wait to be seated. The guilt in his eyes is evident.

"Are you okay?" I ask him finally.

Niall looks at me "Huh? Uh, yeah. I'm just really hungry."

"You're always hungry." I say with a smile, trying to get back into conversation.

Niall smiles back "What can I say?" He shrugs "Ya know me too well, Meilie."

I look at him with amusement "Oh Nialler..."

A girl who looks to be around my age approaches the podium before Niall and I. She dips down until she is out of sight and I can hear the rustling of papers.

"Hello! Welcome to Cammon's my name is Ta-" she looks at us for the first time and her jaw drops.

I take a small step back, unsure of what's going on.

"Oh. My. God!" She says in disbelief "Are you...? You're Niall Horan! You're THE Niall Horan!"

Niall smiles and nods "Nice to meet you, Tabitha." He says.
