At first you got startled until you realized it was him.
"Sorry didn't mean to startle you.." You sighed. You were thankful he was here, you needed someone to talk to. But you were debating whether you could talk to him or not.
"It's okay." You took a deep breath. "Hey, could I ask you something?" He nodded.
"Okay, well what is your take on all of this." You gestured ur hands wildly?????? "You know, being stuck here. In a video game, for possibly all of eternity?" He put his hand on your shoulder.
"Don't be so pessi(mystic messenger a/n: haha)" You looked up at him but looked back at your drink.
"I guess the fact that we can't go back to reality just kinda hit me. Sorry if i woke you up."
"No problem, I couldn't sleep anyways." You chuckled nervously in response. He put his hand on your shoulder but as he was about to take his hand away, he brushed your hand. You quickly pulled your hand back and felt yourself blush. Klein realized what just happened and cleared his throat.
' I-I-Think i'll go back to bed.Thanks for keeping me company" you said cheerfully as you stood up.
"Y-yeah no problem, see you tomorrow morning."
You quickly ran back to your room and heard him chuckle as you were running up the stairs. You entered your room and could still feel the heat in your cheeks.
Why am I blushing so much?
You shook the thought out of your head and took off your cloak and put away your gear. You layed down on your bed and tried to fall asleep until you heard the door opening. It wasn't until Klein's head popped through the door you stood up.
"What are you doing in here?" he said with a perplexed face.
"Um... sleeping?"
He backed out of the room then and looked at the door. He walked back in confused.
"Heh, hate to break it to you but I think you're in the wrong room" he said while scratching the back of his neck.
You stood there in shock, eyes opened wide.
"OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY I DIDN'T REALIZE. Uhm... I'll get going th-"
"I mean if you liked me that much you could've just told me." he said laughing.
"Ha ha... Uhm I better get going, sorry about that. Goodnight."
You walked frantically out of the room and ran into your room. You layed down on your bed cringing about what had just happened.
"Oh my God what if I fell asleep"
"Did anyone else hear?"
"What's it going to be like tomorrow?"
On the bright side that took your mind off of the deep thoughts of being stuck in SAO which eventually helped you fall asleep.
You could still feel yourself blushing
