Can We Love Again?- Lloyd x Reader

You fidget nervously with your fingers. You were currently escorting your ex, Lloyd, to his class. There was an awkward silence between the both of you guys. You bit your lip, trying your hardest not to cry. You replay back to the time when you and Lloyd broke up.

-Flashback Starts-

You held tightly on Lloyd's hand. His hand felt rough, but soft at the same time. You didn't dare to look at his face. "Please Lloyd. Don't do this to me," You squeeze Lloyd hand for insurance. "Don't leave me for (Enemy Name). I'm begging you.... I love you." You started to sob quietly, letting your tears fall down your face. You heard Lloyd sigh, "(Your Name), I'm sorry.... I don't think I love you anymore." That's when you lost it. You started bawling like a spoiled child who lost their toy. "Why? Tell me why? What can I do to take back your heart?" Lloyd touch your cheek once, but you slapped it out.

"You know what? I don't need you anymore. You're not worth my time." Your mood changed as fast as a cheetah speed, which shocked Lloyd. You turned around and started to make your way to your house. "(Your Name)....." You didn't bother to glance back. You stopped in your tracks though. "You're a player. Never talk to me ever again."

-Flashback Ends-

That was the last time you saw Lloyd. You thought he transferred to a different school, but apparently he came back. You stopped in front of Lloyd class. "This is your class. I'll be leaving now." You started to walk back to (Favorite Class). "Wait, (Your Name)!" You stopped and glance behind you, "What?" You replied rather coldly making him flinch. "I'm sorry, please forgive me." You shook your head, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." You then made your way to class, leaving Lloyd speechless.

~Time skip to lunch~

You sat down with Nya and your other friends. "Give him a chance again, (Your Name)." (Best Girl Friend Name) shook her head agreeing with Nya. You sighed and began to sink in your own thoughts. You wanted to give Lloyd another chance, but you were scared that he would ditch you again for some other cute chick. You stood up, and begin to make your way outside on the roof top, "I'll talk with you guys later. For now I need some fresh air." Your friends nodded for a while, but then continued their conversation. You checked the clock. We still have 10 minutes of lunch left.

When you were making you way to the roof, you accidentally bumped into someone. "Sorry." You muttered as you stood up and dusted yourself. You looked up and to your shock there was Lloyd. "It's fine." Lloyd flashed you his charming smile, which caused a pink hue to appear on your cheeks. What am I doing? I'm supposed to be mad at him. You mentally slapped yourself, not paying attention to what Lloyd was about to do. You felt something on your cheek. There was warmth radiating from it. You placed your hands on top of it and instantly you knew this feeling. It was Lloyd's hand.

You looked him in the eye once again, and bit your lips softly. "How about we talk on the roof?" Lloyd asked softly, letting his hand slip away from your cheeks. You hesitantly nodded as both of you guys made your way to the roof. Once you arrived, you could feel the soft warm air as it hits you in the face. Suddenly you remembered something. I-Isn't this the place where Lloyd confessed his feelings to me? While you stood in shock you felt Lloyd hug you. "Please, please come back to me." Lloyd voice was shaking as he hug you.

Your eyes softened at the sight of Lloyd almost breaking down. You wrapped your arms around him in return. You felt really bad. You wanted him back too, but you were too scared of the same cycle that happened to you guys. Strangers, friends, best friends, relationship, then heartbreak. You felt him let go, but when you saw his face clearly he had tears falling down his eyes. Your eyes widened in shock. Sure you knew him for a long time, but you have never seen him so desperate of someone. Lloyd broke the silence by asking you a question, "Will you please be my girlfriend again. I know that I'm an idiot for dating (Enemy Name), but now it's all over. Please come back."

You stood silently as you pondered over your answer. Should I or should I not? You took in a deep breath, "Will we really start over and love each other again?" Lloyd quickly nodded and held your hand tightly. "So is that a yes?" Lloyd asked, his eyes shining. You smiled and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. "We'll start all over again. I promise I won't cheat on you or leave you for some other girl ever again." Lloyd hugged you tightly, acting as if he was going to lose you again. You chuckled softly and returned the hug. Your hugged lasted for a while until you heard two very familiar voices say, "Yassss, our favorite couple is back together!!!!!!"
