Summer sun.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

The sound of my alarm went off, signaling i needed to get up. As i untangled my self from my covers, i hit the off button on my alarm clock.

Getting out of bed, i slide my slippers on and walked down stairs to make some tea.

Walking into the kitchen i greet my mum with a small "morning". Watching her on her phone at the table.

"Well morning sweetie" my mum excited voice rings looking up from her phone, flashing me a small smile.

"Why so excited" i ask, wondering what was on her mind.

"Its really hot out today, wanna go for a swim in the pool after you get breakfast?" My mum asks.

"Sorry mum" i say. I felt so bad saying no to her, we have been so distant since i started working at the bakery. "I have to be to work by 11 sharp" i state.

"Its okay hun" my mum said in a hushed tone. "Some other time".

After i ate breakfast, i went up to my room to get ready for work. As i opened my door, i felt the hot breeze coming from my opened window hit my skin.

As i walked into my bath room, i plugged my hair straightener in, even though there is really no need for it, its so hot out and I'm going to be stuck in the bakery all day, my hair is probably going to be curly again before work is even over.

Putting my normal makeup on, eyeliner, mascara & a little lip gloss, i grab my straightener and turn my head to look at the clock. 10:13 on display, i realized i need to hurry up and finished getting ready. I straighten my hair to perfection before i walk to my closet to get my normal work clothes out, black shorts and a blue t-shirt with my work logo on it. Slipping on my white converses on.

As i finished, i took one last look in the mirror. I think to my self 'This blue shirt really make my eyes pop out'.

Feeling satisfied, i grab my purse, shoving my phone in it and grabbing my car keys. As i walked past the living room, i say bye to my mum and walk out to my car.

As i get into my car, i smell the fresh sent on lavender. Thank gosh for car freshener.

As i pull in my normal parking spot, i look into the sky and see that beautiful summer sun, cursing that it was so hot. Today was going to be a long ass day.
