"we need to get there before he does" Detective Sophie Robins said to her grumbling partner
"Taxi!" she hailed one down.
"why are we even calling him? He isn't even a detective, what does he call himself again?"
"Don't be rude detective Paul , and he calls himself The Consultant" The taxi came to a stop some blocks away from the crime scene
"why did you stop? We aren't there yet"
The taxi driver replied "sorry sir, i am not going closer than this, the cops are everywhere"
Peter muttered something beneath his breath but Sophie paid him no attention.
"that isn't even an actual post in the CIU Sophie"
"he says he's the only one in the world, he created the job" Sophie said trying to hold back the laughter
"but you've seen what he can do" she continued after calming herself.
"we need him"
"no we do not"Peter replied getting angry
"yes, you do"
Peter turned pale when he heard his voice. He hated his voice, Sophie said she liked it. It made him hate it the more.
"welcome Michael, it took you a while" Sophie said as they shook hands.
"no, i have been waiting for you"
"how is that possible?" Peter said "you weren't told the location of the crime scene"
"i was the taxi driver who brought you here" Michael replied handing him back the money he paid for his cab fare.
"you liked being called sir didn't you now Puffer"
"pronounce my name correctly for God's sake" Peter said trying not to get frustrated.
Michael grinned.
Sophie nudged the forward "ladies shall we?"
She waved her badge to the police officer outside the bungalow
It was dark inside, rooms on each side, of the hall way they proceeded deeper down the hall way and stopped at the last room. They stopped and Sophie turned the door, Michael went in first. He felt his sole touch something wet
"why is there water all over the place?" Peter said
"Look closely" Michael said slowly
"Jesus" Peter muttered.
Michael grinned.
He could hear Peter vomiting while running outside, who could blame him, after all they were ankle deep in blood.
