Dear Someone,

Today at school, we met again...I thought you will ignore but you didn't, when Amy and her group of friends threw my books into the water fountain, you didn't ignore me, you laughed at me. I know you're pretending to ignore me, and laugh at me because as soon as Amy and her friends left, you said, "I am sorry, Iz." Why? Why are you doing this to me? You didn't even come and help me pick up my soaked books from the fountain. You didn't, but he did. Ryder, who is also part of your 'gang'. He helped me pick up my books and said that you are all jerks, which you are.

What happened to you? You used to hate these guys. You said that they are show-offs and jerks. Well, congratulations, Aaron James, You are officially a show-off and a jerk.

If Ryder hadn't come then, I would have broken down. You used to be that person. You used to be that special friend who didn't let me break down. Who knew how to make me smile on my worst days.

I had forgiven you for laughing at me in the morning but what you did at recess. That can't be forgiven. You could have just told me that I was sitting on your table, I would have moved. You didn't have to push me of the seat and push my lunch off the table. You did not have to humiliate me in front of all those people, but you did it anyway.

I saw you change your face when Ryder helped me get up and picked up my lunch. I saw your face when he came with me and we sat on another table. You were sorry. But you wouldn't say it, because that will make you 'uncool'. I noticed that you tried to catch a look everytime your friends looked away. I don't get it. You were always all about 'Being Yourself'. If the Aaron I knew looked at you, he would probably punch you but, he, the Aaron i knew is gone. He's dead.

I don't expect you to reply, I'll never make that mistake again, of expecting you to do anything.

Yours

Isobel
