EmJay's POV
Running hand in hand through the field but not as you imagine. We are not alone. The rain is pelting down on us. Close behind dogs are barking as we run from the prison. It takes me back to the night i was brought in all those years ago and this is my story.
I don't remember much of my first days there 13 years ago but I do remember the night they brought me in. They deemed me too dangerous for normal security and imprisoned me in a high security bio compound with armed guards on constant look out for any odd behaviour.
I was found by 3 men, they looked young but they were acting strange around me. One got too close but I smiled and played their game. It only took a second of dropped attention and they were mine, I owned them. Before they knew it they had moved on, one in particular had taken me fancy so I kept a bit, his head if you must know.
More men turned up a few minutes later, they took my man's head off me and put handcuffs on me instead. They seemed strangely nice around my wrists. I knew they were to weak for me but I wasn't going to make these uniformed people look bad. I do have a nice side you know.
I was with these people only an hour before they called up stronger people and that's when I ended up in that prison. At first they seemed ignorant regardless of what I did. All I wanted was someone to play with but then they started being mean, strapping me to a chair and asking me strange questions before taking me back to my cell. Plain, cold, steel walls and the only light was a window.
Subject: SCP-000
Update: seems uneasy in cell, almost human when in the darkness sets in with screaming and crying. A request has been sent for comfort in cell and SCP-000 to be asked if she would like anything adding to her room. All previous requests have been denied.
They continued to test and question me but slowly over time they became fewer and fewer. 13 years have passed and the interviews are now rare. I wait for them so I can get out of this cell for a while. I have also noticed a new face in the interview rooms, sometimes taking me to and from my cell. At first i suspected he was a new guard, like a lot of them he will come and go, maybe a year sometimes two then move on. But there was something about him, his mysterious eyes maybe, or the way he held himself. He wasn't like the rest.
The new guy, tall and blond, looked straight through me instead of at me like I was some kind of creature that shouldn't be here, I liked that. I stand by the window sometimes to see if I might be able to see him or even catch his eye but it seemed a lifetime between each time he passed. Eventually it seemed pointless until this one day.
I was in my normal spot looking out of the window, not really paying attention, when suddenly there he was, but this time he was looking straight at me. I stood there like a deer in the headlights of a car. His blue eyes cutting right through me like razors, making my body go cold. His pace faltered for a split second before he corrected himself and looked away again. I stood there frozen to the spot for a few minutes after he had gone, before returning to my cot to lay down.
'He looked at me,' I thought 'he actually looked at me.'
A few days past by and I didn't see my mystery man, but I knew he would be back. Every time I saw him I couldn't help but stare, not the normal unsettling glare I give everyone else but a shy stare that I cant stop myself doing. He looks at me more now, I haven't seen him smile yet but he looks, that's enough for me.
