It was the strangest feeling ever. I was sat in Harry Styles' car as we drove through the London traffic. But it wasn't the fact that I was sat next to Harry that was strange... Well I mean it was pretty surreal but it was more that I didn't feel weird at all to be there with him. He just made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed.

We turned into a restaurant and Harry nodded at the security guarding the gate to the back car park, which they then opened for us. Harry parked up the car and turned to smile at me.

"I thought we better start off by getting some food, I wouldn't want you going hungry now would I" He said with his permanent smirk on his face as he unbuckled his seatbelt and opened his car door.

I followed him out the car and we began walking to what looked like the back entrance of the restaurant. We got to the door and a tall, blonde women greeted us.

"Great to see you again, Harry." She said. "I'll show you to your table."

We walked up some wide glass stairs, looking down on some people eating their dinner, and she lead us to the second floor which had a huge fish tank lined around the walls.

"Here you go, this is your table." She said, pointing to a table for two. "A waiter will be over soon so you can order your drinks."

"Thank you, Helen." Harry politely replied, flashing her his cheeky grin.

I sat down on my chair and just looked around in awe of the place. I'd never really been on many dates, well none that ended particularly well and I'd definitely never been to a restaurant like this before. It was really quiet here too, we were the only ones on the second floor which I guess was a bonus for Harry.

The conversation was going really smoothly, we talked about literally anything. I tried to not talk too much about one direction to him because I just presumed that thats all anyone ever really talks to him about.

"So, who would you be here with if you hadn't have met me then?" I said, looking up smiling as I sipped on the straw in my drink.

"Now, that would be telling wouldn't it." Harry said, teasing me. "I never give away any of my secrets."

I guess that was pretty true about him. I was looking at his twitter whilst we were in the car and noticed that he doesn't really give a lot away and seems to prefer to keep things personal, which is pretty refreshing for someone as famous as him.

"Harry!" A man shouted, walking over to our table.

"James! What you doing here, man?" Harry replied, getting up from the table and greeting him.

"Just here with Julia, Helen said you were up here so I thought I better come show my face." He said, looking over to me. "And who is this lucky lady?"

"Alexa this is James, James this is Alexa." Harry introduced us, as if I needed telling who James freaking Corden was.

"Hi!" I said, trying to not sound too much of a dork.

"Well, I'll leave you two to it then, nice meeting you Alexa!" James said smiling it me, "and I hope I'll be seeing you two at the party later yes?"

"We'll be there" Harry replied.

After an amazing dinner, we headed back to the car. There was noticeably more people here now.

"I don't know if there are going to be any paps outside the gates, but if there are then I'm sorry" Harry said as we got into the car.

"You don't have to be sorry, its not your fault." I replied, trying to reassure him even though it kind of scared me a bit.

"I know but it's kind of annoying because I can't even go on a first date without everyone knowing about it." Harry replied, as he began to reverse the car.

"First date, hey?" I said, smirking at him as he stopped reversing to look at me. "Don't get too ahead of yourself now, Harry!" He shook his head and laughed to himself, obviously realising what he had said.

We were driving for a while to get to this party, and thankfully there wasn't any paps outside the restaurant which put both of us at ease. I definitely wasn't ready to be pictured with Harry and have it posted all over the internet - I can barely deal with the amount of pictures that my Nan has of me scattered around her house.

We pulled up to what looked like a country manor house and it had loads of cars parked in the gravelled courtyard. I was instantly more nervous. I mean, what kind of party is this? A family party? Close friends party? If Harry is friends with James Corden and he is going then who else is going to be here?

"Are you okay?" Harry said, watching me scanning myself in the mirror.

"Er... Yeah I'm fine." I said faking a smile at him. "Ok, I'm kinda nervous... Fine, I'm really nervous."

"You'll be absolutely fine, I'll introduce you to some people and you'll have a great time." Harry said as he pushed his hair back.

We got out of the car and walked into the house together. There were people everywhere, it was pretty intense. I recognised so many celebrities that I have seen all over the television and magazines, I felt like a complete outcast. Harry started to introduce me to some of his friends and then he noticed Niall stood by the pool outside.

"Come with me." Harry said, holding me by the arm and walking outside. "Niall!"

"What's up, man!" Niall said. "Who's this?"

"This is Alexa." Harry replied. "We met at Lou's today."

Niall was such a funny guy. I kind of expected him to be the shy one of the band but he was so outgoing and seemed to have everyone around him all the time. Harry had wandered off to see some friends so I just stayed with Niall to avoid all of the awkward questions about who I am.

"So, Harry took you on a date huh?" Niall asked, as he drank some of his beer.

"Yeah he did." I replied, not wanting to say too much and sound crazy.

"And you only met today?" He asked, sounding shocked.

"Yeah..." I replied.

"Well that's strange for Harry." Niall said. "He usually takes his time before he goes out in public with a girl."

I didn't really know what to think of what Niall said. I mean, it's New Years Eve, so he wouldn't have wanted to just sit in and get to know me I guess and I'm not famous so nobody would know who I was anyway. I guess it is pretty strange. He could have just met me another time, Its not like he doesn't know where I'm staying but he wanted to spend New Years Eve with me... unless he just wanted to have a girl on his arm. Am I over thinking this? I should stop. I'm here with Harry, ENJOY IT.

I looked at my phone and noticed that it was 11:50pm, 10 minutes before midnight and I'm stood here with Niall and some people who barely know I'm here because they're too engrossed in Niall! I looked around to see if i could see Harry but he wasn't around anywhere. Great. I should probably go inside and have a look but that means leaving Niall and he's sort of my security blanket here and I really don't want to not be able to find him too. I waited for a while, hoping Harry would come and find me but it was now 11:58pm and he still wasn't here.

"OK EVERYONE INSIDE, GET READY FOR THE COUNTDOWN." Someone shouted and everyone started to head inside.

I stood in a crowded huge room feeling like an awkward little child.

"TEN... NINE... EIGHT... SEVEN." Everyone shouted.

I stood there looking at everyone being all happy around me and noticed the confetti that was about to drop from the high ceiling. Feeling as awkward as ever, I felt a hand gently hold mine and spin me around.

"One." Harry wispered, as he lightly placed a kiss on my shocked lips.
