It's now late January and time for me to head back to university and back to reality. Harry and I have kept in touch however It's been a few days now and he hasn't returned any of my calls or messages which is strange as he is usually pretty good with that. He's been in LA for a while though, so I guess with the time difference and everything... I don't know. Maybe he's just busy? He always tells me not to read articles about him or believe any rumours because 99% of the time they're all false but he has been rumoured to be dating two different girls since I last saw him, so it's pretty hard to not feel pretty rubbish about it.

I decided not to tell anyone about Harry, obviously my brother knows and I mentioned to my mum that he was at Lou's, but I'm just not ready for all of the questions and people hating on me for it. Especially being back at university, I didn't want people thinking I was attention seeking. I guess maybe now it is completely back to reality, Harry has probably moved on and realised that he can't be with someone like me so he just thought ignoring me was the best option. I mean, its not like I can fly out to LA and find him.

"ALEXAAAAAA" My flatmate screamed, as she ran down the hallway to greet me after a few weeks of not seeing each other.

I live in halls of residence, which is basically accomdation for students that usually consists of a few buildings with loads of indiviual flats in them that students will share. There's 6 of us in my flat, including me. I get along with all of them, however Laura is a huge one direction fan. I'm talking posters all over her wall, has their tweets on notification, mini cardboard cutouts... you name it, she's got it! Thankfully, Niall is her favourite so I don't have to hear her talk about Harry 24/7. However, she would freak if I told her about Harry or me meeting any of the boys, so I'm just going to have to keep this as my dirty little secret.

"We're going out tonight, right?!" Laura excitedly said, as she threw her bags into her room.

"Yeah, sure!" I replied, not really sure if I wanted to go or not but I need something to take Harry off my mind.

"How about we go crazy tonight, yeah?!" Laura said, with a smirk on her face.

"You say that every night, Laura!" I replied, laughing and walking into my room to find something to wear.

"I know, I know!" She said, following me. "But how about tonight we go somewhere different?!"

"Like where?" I asked, holding up two dresses and waiting for her to pick one.

"London!" She beamed, pointing at the deep blue dress in my right hand.

Before I could even answer, she skipped out of my room and went into hers to get ready. London wasn't far from our university - just a short train journey but it was definitely something different! Although, I can't say it was the best way to stop thinking about Harry, considering it was where we met but it's not like I'm going to bump into him there or anything... right?

When we were both ready and had gathered more of the girls to come with us, Laura demanded we did our usual of taking selfies before we leave. After that we all headed into the taxi and went to the train station.

Once we got to London it was around 8:30pm and it was super cold, so I was so thankful that I decided to wear my black fitted leather jacket over my dress. We decided to head over to a cocktail bar that Laura had been talking about the whole train journey, it was pretty packed inside so we headed straight to the bar to order our drinks. I stood leaning against the bar waiting to be served and noticed Zayn sat on a bar stool talking to Perrie. I quickly spun around and faced the other way so that he wouldn't notice me, its not that I didn't want to talk to him but how could I explain to the girls that I know Zayn and just failed to mention it to them?!

"Is something wrong, Alexa?" Grace asked me, as we walked with our drinks over to a table which happened to be right next to Zayn.

"I'm fine!" I lied, they could clearly tell that I was on edge. "Erm, I need to sit there." I said, pointing to the sofa that had its back to Zayn.

"Ok..." Laura replied, getting up and moving to the opposite sofa next to Poppy and Emily.

We sat there for around an hour and I was absolutely dying to use the bathroom but Zayn and Perrie still hadn't left yet and I would have to walk straight passed them to get to the bathroom.

"Bathroom before we leave, girls?" Poppy announced, as she grabbed her bag and stood up.

"Yeah, I'm bursting!" Grace replied, and all the girls stood up. "You not coming, Alexa?"

"No, I'm fine." I lied, smiling up at them. "I'll wait here."

They all left to go to the bathroom and I let out a sigh of relief. We were finally leaving this bar and I could actually relax...

"Alexa?" A voice said from beside me.

I looked up and saw Zayn smiling down at me with Perrie stood behind him.

"Oh... Zayn!" I said, tyring to sound surprsied. "How are you?"

"I'm doing good!" He replied. "How are things with you and Harry?"

"Um... Well, we haven't really spoken for a while." I honestly said to him, feeling my heart sink into my stomach.

"Really?" He said, looking shocked. "He seemed really into you."

"Yeah... Well I guess not." I said, trying to put on a brave face. "He's not been returning my calls or messages."

"That's strange." He replied, now looking confused. "We were on skype the other day and I swear he said that you two were still talking a lot."

"What?" Now I was the confused one. "You must have heard wrong, It definitely wasn't me."

"Strange. I'll speak to him about it when I next talk to him anyway." He said, putting his arm around Perrie and giving her a quick smile. "Anyway, it's been good to see you."

I got up and gave Zayn a quick hug and said goodbye. Literally as soon as they both left the bar, the girls strutted out of the bathroom. Talk about good timing.
