It was the 31st of December, the family was very excited for The New Year! Jeremy's Dad was setting up the old grey TV that they had bought about 3 years ago. "Surprised it is still working" yelled Jeremy from the kitchen.
"Shut up! it should work, and if it doesn't then we buy a new one!" yelled Dad whilst dropping the plugs everywhere.
Jeremy and the family sat and watched the grey box. Jeremy's mom was upstairs smoking, she said that she's upstairs so she can see the fireworks, but they all new she was just having a drink whilst dancing to the music!
Jeremy asked his brother Jacob "what time is it?"
"Time to get a bloody watch init" he laughed and then carried on, "how would i know?!"
"Well you are Dads favourite child, so ask him!"
"Fine! I will. Dad..."
"Yes dear boy." Dad said politely without looking away at the TV screen.
"What... erm... what time is it?"
"Yes" Dad said. Jacob looked at Jeremy and giggled quietly. Even though at the start of the story i said that the Dad is very kind and all that, i meant to say 'he is very kind to the adopted people' not the normal children that he has made with the old mean drunken woman upstairs!
Anyway, it was 11:49pm only 11 minutes until midnight. The children weren't excited because they didn't eve know what time it was because of having the unfocused Dad and the Drunk mom now downstairs eating the whole fridge! Suddenly, the TV started saying "10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1... HAPPY NEW YEA..." the TV Turned off
"NO NO NO" Yelled Dad...
