"Skai, Skai, wake up! I have a letter for you." I groaned and rolled over, falling off my bed, and soon I wake to making out on the floor. Once again I groan and get up.
"What?" I exclaim.
I see my mother, auburn hair, full lips, big hazel eyes, tall, thin. But me, blond hair that runs to my waist, beach waves, everyone says it's beautiful, but in my opinion, it's horrible, I have icy blue eyes, pale face, rid of any marks or blemishes, tall like my mother, and I have full lips. Everyone says I'm beautiful, but I think not.
"I said I have a letter for you." I come back from my daze and see the letter being waved in front of my face. I quickly grab it, tearing it open to see fancy writing. I open the neatly folded off white paper.
Dear Skai,
We are gladly to say that you are accepted into the Academy of Magic. Or AOM. Please pack everything you have, for you will be here for a long time, only going home for one of the breaks. Pack room decor, clothes, etc. And meet us at the bridge in central park.

"Mom, what is this, I never applied to anything?"
"Honey we need to talk." She takes me to the couch, next to my dad.
"So we..uh you are very special. And powerful. And we are sending you to this academy to help you retain your powers. To help you be great. And we're sorry we never told you this before now. But we are sending you here, because soon the world will need you. Honey I'm one to. I can tell the future. You have a fraternal sister, named Ashlynn, but we had to separate you to because your differences could hurt one another. I'm sorry." My mom finished her long speech. I look at them as if there crazy. But there serious.
"I ... I don't know what to say, I mean I didn't even know I had a sister. A twin at that. But I guess it's cool that I have powers. Well way cool."
"I knew you wouldn't take it offensively, but you might want to go and pack we leave soon."
"What?! You couldn't tell me this before now! How long do I have till we leave?!"
"We leave in 2 hours." My dad says calmly, while I'm freaking out. I run up the stairs. And immediately start packing all of my clothes. Then I pack my necessities. Then my room decorations. And lastly pictures. My iPhone 7, my iPad Air2, and my windows computer. And all of my chargers. Along with some pencils, pens, notebooks, money, bags, accessories, razor, swim suits etc. And shoes. Lots of shoes.
I walk down the stairs, suitcase after suitcase. I hear the car running so I put all of my stuff in it. I was back inside to get mum and dad.
"Mom! Dad! I'm ready to go!" I yell loud enough so they could hear me.
"We're coming!" Mom yells back. And soon we are out the door, and driving off to central park.

When we get to the bridge there's no one there, so I ask mom if I could have some money to get a drink at Starbucks. She said yes, so I walk over to the coffee smelling store. I walk in instantly feeling bliss. I order a caramel frappachino. I walk out of the store after paying. Savoring the taste of the coffee and caramel. As I was though I bumped into someone. But I feel tingles and shock run through my body. I look to see a girl with black hair and green eyes. Very pretty. She narrows her eyes at me, but then shrugs and walks away.

As soon as I'm back to the bridge, I find my parents, with all my stuff. Then I had this loud voice.
"Hello ladies and gentlemen. I'm here to say that we are ready to open the gateway to AOM!"
I look around and find the girl again. And I get a weird sensation run through my body. But I push it away as if it was nothing. I look back at the guy.
"I am the headmaster of this school so if the children would follow me that would be great!" I hug mom and dad. While shedding a few tears. Then I follow the headmaster along with everyone else, into a pit of darkness.
