Dan had just started his first year at uni and he hated it. He hated the people, he hated his room, he hated studying law. Why the fuck did he choose law? He didn't have a clue.

The only thing he liked is that he could spend more time alone with Phil. He would go over to his flat to study but, eventually give up and play video games with Phil.

He liked Phil's house a lot better than his small, cramped, room back at the university. It was dull and brown; Phil's flat was filled with bright colours.

There were blues and greens and purples. Dan even liked the way the raven haired boy dressed.

Colourful and bright. Nothing like Dan himself. Nope, Dan just wanted to blend in and go about his life unnoticed. But how could he when Phil came with him everywhere. 

Dan and Phil were inseparable. Phil would accompany Dan to most places like Starbucks, the grocery store, clothes shopping. Dan didn't mind. He loved having the happy boy skip along side him.

Dan soon developed feeling for him. He love the way he looked. His bright blue eyes, raven hair that draped over his eyes. He love the way he dressed. They way he spoke. The way he carried himself like he wasn't afraid of anything. He love his laugh. He loved his ability to be happy, to make others happy,  but most importantly, his ability to make Dan happy.

All Dan wanted to do was to be with Phil. To cuddle him and kiss him. He wanted Phil. So one day, he took a brave leap. He started flirting with Phil, hoping he'd catch on. When Phil was clueless, Dan had to make a move.

He was over at Phil, studying for a law exam, when he had an idea. 

"Hey come over here for a second, I need your help. It's for a school project." Dan asked.

"Okay, what is it?" Phil replied, willing to help Dan, even if he had no idea about law.

"You need to kiss me."

Phil's eyes widened in surprise, but then laughed. "What class is this for again?"

Dan bit his lip and hesitated before saying "Chemistry."

"Don't you study law?" Phil smirked.

"Just shut up and kiss me."

Phil smiled and leaned in. Their lips connected for a moment. But the moment was over too soon.

"Hmmm, I think it needs to be longer. Wouldn't want inaccurate data." Phil suggested.

Dan laughed and stood up. He wrapped his arms around the taller boy's neck. He leaned up and kissed Phil. Soft but firm. Dan parted his lips allowing for Phil's tongue to explore his mouth.

They pulled apart and smiled at each other. "How was that?" Phil whispered. Dan nodded. "Yea... that was good."

"Glad I could help." Phil chuckled. Dan arms were still wrapped around Phil's neck. "Wanna help me some more?" Dan smirked.

"Gladly."
