I rushed around the kitchen like a mad man trying to gather everything I needed for school; the shared laptop was open on the kitchen table as I rushed around whilst talking to my best pal Zayn online.

Tommo: Still not looking forward to school today, I don't want to see her!

DJMalik: You just need to ignore her. She was a bitch anyway, Lou.

I was still rushing around trying to get everything ready for school, while I was still talking to Zayn. It was a struggle, but I still managed to do it.

"Lou! Have you had breakfast?" I turned around to see my Mum standing over me. "Who are you talking to?" I rolled my eyes at my mum's protectiveness and shook my head. "I'm not hungry and that's private!"

Mum huffed and gave me a stern look; she's always going on at me about the dangers of the online world:  it's all bollocks if you ask me. I sat down at the table and pulled on my shoes whilst quickly typing a reply to Zayn.

Tommo: I know but we were together over a year and she just dumped me for no reason, it kind of hurts and I'm a little embarrassed. I guarantee the whole school knows by now!

DJMalik: So? Since when have you ever cared what anyone has said about you?

Zayn was right. I never used to care. So why should I now? But I used to have Eleanor there by my side; she never let the words get to me. I don't know what I'm going to do if people at school say things to me.

"Eat this!" my mum told me handing me an energy bar and walked out the room. "I'm going to work, make sure Lottie doesn't miss the bus again!"

I shouted a goodbye as mum exited the house and wrote Zayn back quickly.

Tommo: Yeah I know what you mean mate, but anyway stop chatting and come pick me up, may as well get this over and done with.

DJMalik: On my way. Be ready.

"Lottie! Don't miss the bus again!" The second the words left my mouth, Lottie came running down the stairs frantically.

"Lou? Have you seen my bag? I can't find it anywhere?!" She was frantically looking in the kitchen and in the living room.

"Lottie. It's here." I pulled the kitchen chair out and Lottie picked up her bag, she shouted bye then ran out the door.

I looked at my phone to see I had a message from Zayn telling me he's outside.

I ran out the door, locking it and jumping into Zayn's car. In the back of the car was our other friend Niall.

"Morning boys, ready for another day in hell?" I asked greeting them both.

Niall just laughed from the backseat as Zayn pulled out of the drive and drove toward school.

"Unfortunately. How are you Lou?" I looked to see a concerned face of one of my best friends. I had already spoken to Zayn about it but I didn't know if he had spoken to Niall.

"I'm fine, Ni. I'm just worried. I bet everyone knows now, and they're going to take the piss!"

"You'll be fine, besides you have us so stop worrying!" he replied with a smile.

"Yeah, I know guys. Thank you." I smiled gratefully at both the boys and the rest of the car journey was in a comfortable silence.

Zayn pulled up into the school parking lot and shut off the engine, from the moment we entered through the school gates kids were everywhere and I could feel myself getting nervous. Doing my best I shut out the world, put on the best fake smile I could and excited the car.
