From 1.01 "Pilot", night in the woods, over the fog-covered forest floor.

Ryan: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (The Vampire Diaries)"

From 7.02 "Never Let Me Go", in Alaric's classroom, Alaric was looking at a picture of himself and Jo.

Liv: (voice over from 7.02 Never Let Me Go) "He wants to bring Jo back to life..."

From 7.02 "Never Let Me Go", in Alaric's office, Nicola looked at the Phoenix Stone in her hands for a moment. She was overcome by visions of people who were covered in blood and screaming in agony. She was so startled that she gasped, snapping out of her vision and dropped the stone to the desk, backing away.

Liv: (voice over from 7.02 Never Let Me Go) "With a stone that's filled with evil incarnate."

From 7.03 "Age of Innocence", in the morgue, Alaric and Liv met up with Tory, Luke, Cristian and Bonnie.

Alaric looked at Tory and Bonnie pleadingly. "At least tell me you'll try."

Tory and Bonnie hesitated for a long moment, sighing, giving in.

"We'll try," Bonnie told them.

From 7.02 "Never Let You Go", in Stefan's old room, Alex was still chained up by her wrists, swaying.

Lindsey was still sitting on the floor, chained up with the anti-magic shackles, gazing off numbly.

Valerie held her hands toward both Lindsey and Alex, beginning to cast a spell. "Phesmatos extandas lomiano...."

Later, Tory used the spell to astral protect herself into the room. Stefan and Cristian were with them.

Tory used magic to unlock the chains around their wrists, freeing them.

Luke and Nicola helped Ryan walk inside.

"What's going on up here?" Luke asked.

"Alex and Lindsey's skin are like wolfsbane and vervain combined," Cristian answered.

"It's all right," Tory told them. "I've always siphoned my power from my Doppelganger blood and werewolf side. I never learned how to siphon from other things. But I can try, after we get out of here."

From 7.02 "Never Let Me Go", in the Lockwood Mansion, Stefan, Damon, Kaylin, Nicola, Alex and Liv were talking.

Kaylin looked at Alex and Liv in guilt. "She has Elena." Alex and Liv looked at them worriedly. "And she won't let Enzo or Lindsey go until I leave and they're sure that I don't come back. Goodbye for now. Don't try to stop me. You won't be able to."

Kaylin walked out, leaving them in shock.

"There were four Heretics at the funeral," Nicola told them. "Dead Malcolm makes five. But, in 1903, there were six, which means there's one more."

"And I'm gonna find him, and I'm gonna negotiate a trade," Damon told them.

From 7.03 "Age of Innocence", in the hotel, Damon, Nicola, Liv, Cristian and Alaric took Oscar down.

Lily: (voice over from 7.03 Age of Innocence) "You will not lay a hand on another member of my family."

From 7.03 "Age of Innocence", in the Medical Center, Alex and Liv spoke over speaker phone to Lily.

"Give us our sister, you'll get your son back," Alex told her.

From 7.03 "Age of Innocence", in the LA club, Kaylin was dancing on the bar, drinking, on the phone with Nicola.
