WHY IS THIS FIC SO EASY TO WRITE WTF

I'M LOGGING BACK ON TO WRITE AND I'M JUST LIKE: "OH. SEB CHAPTER. YES." IT'S NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE.

Anyway, here you go!!

Sebastian woke to the sound of marching downstairs.

    Insistent marching. And screams.

His first thought was why are they having a party NOW?

Then he realized the marching was getting closer.

    And closer.

Until suddenly the sound of his front door being rammed open got him tumbling from the bed. He scrambled into the closet and shut the door as quietly as possible, keeping his breathing quiet. He didn't know what was going on but whatever it was, he didn't like it.

The bedroom door was kicked open and Sebastian squeezed his eyes shut. A man's voice reached him from behind the door.

"If we don't find the boy, we can't get the Massacre to work for us and we won't get our Soldier back." Seb curled in on himself and took a deep breath. This is a bad dream, it's only a bad dream, you're okay, you're fine.

"Check the closet," another man said.

Sebastian shook his head. I'll wake up soon, I'll get to kiss Mayci goodbye, I'll eat breakfast, I'll call Mackie and Evans over, I--

"I found him," called a woman when the closet door opened.

Sebastian hissed as someone touched him, lashing out and yelling in Romanian. He focused and punched the man trying to grab his arm, kicked the second woman in the stomach. He yanked free of whoever had his other arm and ran to his bed, sliding to grab the metal bat underneath.

Not the best choice--as soon as he turned, an electrical pulse screamed at the back of his head and he was knocked unconscious.

Steve punched an agent in the face as he sprinted down the corridor. Tony flew in besides him, passing off the shield to its owner. The only one they were worried about was Mayci.

"You get Hudson and Barnes, I'll find Romanoff and Barton," Tony said. "Go, go!"

There was an explosion that rocked the whole facility, blasting rubble into Steve's face. Standing over the wreckage, red hair literally flaming, was Mayci.

"Let's go!" she yelled, stomping past him.

"But Bucky's still in there," Steve countered.

A look of despair crossed Mayci's face. "They're going to take Sebastian."

    "Who?"

"Go get Bucky, I'll get any information and shit I can find." She stared him straight in the eyes. "Don't die, Steve."

    "You too, Mayci," he answered.

With that said, they went separate ways.

Bucky was just getting an ice pack for his eye when Mayci stumbled through the wall. He didn't flinch or jump or anything like that because that wasn't a very assassin-y thing to do, but tears were rolling down her face.

    "What's wrong?" he queried.

"They took him, the apartment's a mess, and I don't know how they even got through the dimension wall," she said in between sobs. She attempted to wipe away some tears, but they were falling in streams.
