I look over and see that Kristen has turned and her bright blue eyes are staring at me.
"Hi," she groans and a smile creeps onto her lips.
"Good morning," I laugh. "I'm gonna go shopping. I need to pick up some more clothes and some random stuff." I tell her.
"Oh okay. Uh..there's a party later tonight. Would you wanna come?" She sits up and wipes the sleep from her eyes.
"Oh...I don't know. I don't really go to parties and I don't have anything to wear." It's not a lie but it's not the truth. I have stuff to wear but I don't go to parties. I grab my phone and purse from my dresser.
"Come on! Don't be a party pooper." I think she's still somewhat drunk.
"I don't know.. I'll think about it." I lie. She smiles and claps her hands.
"Yay! You really should come. It'll be a lot of fun. And Louis will be there." She winks when she mentions Louis. I roll my eyes.
"Okay. See you later." I say, walking out the door. Maybe I should go and meet some new people. But if the people are like Kristen and Niall, I'm not sure.
...
I pick up some new jeans, shirts, shoes, and other necessities before leaving the small store down the road from campus. I really need to get a car soon. I walk back down the road towards campus. The weather is surprisingly nice today. The sun is trying to peek it's way between the clouds, the wind ruffles the leaves on the trees. It's warm enough to not wear a jacket, but I have chills on my arms. When I get back to my room, Kristen is gone. There's a note on my bed.
Sorry I left without telling you. It's your first time here and I should probably help show you around. Haha well I'll be back by 3. See ya later and don't forget about the party later (;
I smile to myself as I set the piece of paper on my laptop.
