The past few day's I have been slowly getting my life back. The printing company is booming, I'm eating healthier, I'm getting sleep, and I'm just better in general. I have been getting by because of my kid's. I'm happy I get to still see them. Though I'm in disguise when I do, it still feels like they aren't so far from me. I still have problem's with finding a lawyer to help me. That isn't going well they want too much money. Though thing's are good at my job, thing's aren't always too peachy financially. I don't tell anyone but I sometimes struggle with the bill's. I mean there's only one type of income coming into the house. So a 'good' lawyer is out of the question.
I stretch looking through the California classifieds. I decided to look for a part-time job. a little side job so I can get a lawyer that will help me get my kid's back. I come across one. Nitro Night! The description says all I do is become someone's personal driver. The catch is it's at night sometimes during the day. it pays six dollar's an hour. it's a little less then what I'm usually paid but it's minimum wage for a pretty decent job. I search for the number and jotted down some information. I grabbed my cell and dial.
"Hello Clare speaking from Nitro Night driver service, how may I help you?"
Hello, I saw an ad in the classifieds stating that this company is hiring new driver's?
"why yes sir we are! give me one minute so I can pull up application on my desktop for you sir "
thank-you Ms.Clare
"you're welcome, now I'm going to ask you a few questions I'll start with basics ok? "
yes ma'am
"ok, first your full name?"
Michael Joseph Jackson
"ok, date, day, and year of birth? "
August 30th 1958
"ok ok, now a few personal questions "
ok I'm ready
"ok are you currently working? "
yes...
"ok what's your annual salary? "
umm I think 22,000 a year now
"Are you married? "
......
"Mr.Jackson? "
n-no
"I'm sorry didn't mean to upset you, well we have a jist of your resume, you can come in office tomorrow and we can get you on the start with your first clientele "
ok thank-you see you tomorrow
"alright Mr.Jackson bye bye now "
bye*
I end the call and sigh happily, hopefully I can save enough for a good lawyer. I just want my kid's back. I pray to God that he'll bring them back to me. time's like this makes me think of Julie. God I miss my Julie.
I wake up the next day feeling quite lucky. mother nature was embracing me with love and I am no fool not to linger on that beautiful embrace. I quickly hop in the shower washing my hair and body thoroughly. I step out wrapping a towel around my waist then quickly scavenged for a nice business attire. I find a nice navy blue suit and tucked my hair in a pulled back pony tail. I spray on some cologne and walked downstairs grabbing a banana and some camomile tea.
I decided to take off work today to check out my possibly new part time job. I pull in the parking lot and took in a deep breath before entering the building. I walk to the front desk. Hello i'm-, "Mr.Jackson, Yes I'm Clare and Mr.Ranson office is right this way ",I smile and follow as she leads me. "here you are, just go in",I nod and walk in slowly. "Have a seat boy", The Mr.Ranson said pointing at a seat in front of his desk. "I like what I see first off, I did my research and you're quite the businessman so one question, Why do you want to work here a driver's place?",honestly... I need another job I just wanted something that's not too hard but keeps me busy and pays good, here looks at me not saying anything. "you're hired, I like your honesty we need that, plus I already have you a client.. which should be here in three...two...one ", "Ranson! I've told you I don't want any of your driver's! ",I turn to look at the owners of the voice And my jaw drops.....
