'Finally, Lunch time.' I thought as I made my way out to the same tree that my friends and I were at this morning. Seeing everyone already there.
"How did y'all get out here so fast? We are in the same class for Christ sake." I said as I sat down beside Nick and Cassie.
"Well maybe because you are a slow ass ho." Cassie said with a smile playing on her lips.

"Says the slut who slept through the whole class and didn't leave until after I did." I said as I took a bite out of my lasagna. I smiled sweetly at her because she was flipping me off.

"Where and when honey. You know I'm always ready for you." I said as I winked at her. Nick began laughing at what I said until.

"Hey. Wait! You are my girl Mermaid." Nick said with a pout when he realized what I had just said yes to from Cassie.

"Of course Cryztalyne would say yes to me. I'm better." Cassie said as she took a bite of her broccoli covered in cheese. I started to laugh at Nick's face when he heard her say that.

"Come on girls stop making my brother go pale by saying that. Even if it is funny watching him freak out about it." Lyne said as she laughed at her brother with us.

"Y'all are so mean to me." Nick said pouting at us. I just laughed harder and laid down on his lap.

"Come on love you know I love only you." I said as I looked up at his face.

"I know that. It just freaks me out picturing you and Cassie doing things together." He said shaking his head from side to side making his hair go flying around.

"Oh come on. Don't tell me you don't want to see that. Some girl on girl action." Ben said as he began fantasying about girl on girl shit.

"Stop fantasying about that Ben. You won't see any at all anyways." Lyne said as she took a bite of her sandwich. I laughed at Ben as he pouted at Lyne. I then noticed a boy sitting behind the tree looking at Tammie. I quietly got up and walked up to him.

"Hey you want to sit with us and eat." I said as I kneeled down next to him. I saw him tense and turn to look at me. I smiled softly at him and held out my hand to him.

"Come on. You can sit with us and hang with us later ok?" I said as I pulled him up with me and started to tug him towards my group.

"Hey guys this is......" I started to say.

"You didn't get his name did you Mermaid?" Nick said with a smile, knowing I didn't.

"Um... Yeah... Whats your name?" I said as I turned and lloked at the kid.

"It's Dakota... Dakota Banks." He said as he looked down at the ground.

"Well welcome to the group Dakota. It's a pleasure to meet you." Tammie said as she smiled up at him. I smiled and motioned for him to sit by Tammie.

"So how about cut the chit chat and you hag out with us later today after sch...." I stopped as I heard a enchantingly beautiful voice.

"Across the ocean I sing to you come to my call young one near Listen to my song for we need you here come to me little mermaid come to me come to me travel oceans near and far till you reach me young one."

I slowly got up and started walking towards the ocean in a type of trance. I could hear my friends calling out for me but all I could think about was going to the ocean and following the voice to where it wants me to go.

I kept on walking till I was at the beach and I started wading into the water slowly going deeper and deeper till arms wrapped around my waist and started to pull me back to the shore.

"Mermaid what the hell were you thinking walking away and completely ignoring us like that is everything okay?" Nick asked as he truned me around to face him.

"W...what just happened?" I asked as I shake my head and look at him straight in the eyes. I could see everyone stand around us and keep me from going near the ocean. 'Very weird' I thought as I continued to stare at nick.

"You stopped talking and started walking towards the ocean. And I had to grab you around the waist because you were about to completely go under water and I didn't want you to drown." He said as he looked down into my eyes with full sincerity.

'He is lying to you.' A voice in my head said as I turned around and jumped over my friends heads and dove straight into the water.

"CHYE!!!" everyone screamed as the dove into the water after me.
