I waited for Ben to come back, lost in my thoughts. I wish I could tell Ben I like him. Would it ruin our friendship? I've known Ben for five years... I don't want to lose him now! The sound of shattering glass snapped me out of my thoughts. "Ben?" I called. I walked into the hallway, connected to the bathroom. Looking out the window, I saw the doors of a black Toyota closing. I whipped out my phone and took a picture of the license plate. "I'll find you, Ben." I whispered. "I promise."

I groggily opened my eyes, and saw small lines of light coming through the the holes in the sack on my head. I felt the jostling of a car, and realized I was being driven somewhere. "Hello?" I croaked. My voice felt raspy and dry. "Is anyone there?"
"Finally, you're awake!" The familiar voice exclaimed. I tried to place where I knew the voice from, but couldn't remember. The person spoke again. "Ben, do you remember me?" I shook my head, too tired to speak again. Suddenly, the bag was pulled off my head. I blinked in the light, and finally, my vision cleared.
"It's me, Ben," the smiling blonde boy said, "Jacob!"
