The next day when I came to work, I had a plan, a really good plan. I'll show him that he was wrong about me, wrong about all of us girls.

"Vanessa! Hey! So, remember what I said yes-" my boss said in a fake happy voice.

"Hold that thought," I started. "So, I was thinking, if I talk back to you, or be rude, or do anything that pisses you off, you will fire me, right? But, as much as I want to make you mad right now, I'm not gonna do it. Not because I don't wanna get fired, because then, you still wouldn't understand what I'm trying to tell you,"

"And what might that be?" My boss asked suspiciously.

"That girls are more then you think they are! We're not just the ideas people, we can be more! And you need to see that," I exclaimed. "And I'm gonna show you today,"

"No, I don't think so," he started in a rude kinda tone. "How do I say this, Vanessa, you aren't coming with us. For this month, consider yourself suspended from work."

"Excuse me? That's not fair! I didn't do anything bad!" I complained.

"Well, in the boss and I can do what I want to," he said in a cocky voice. I was about to say something else, but he cut me off. "I wouldn't say anything else, if I were you. You're attitude has already gotten you into enough trouble. Now, go home."

"Don't say anything, don't say anything, don't say anything," I said to myself as I walked slowly out of the building. But I couldn't just be quiet. "No, I can't be suspended. Please, sir. Just because I'm a girl, doesn't mean you have to be extra harsh on me. What do you have against women?"

He looked off into the distance with a far away look. "My wife, she killed my two beloved children, and ran away. I came home to find my children DEAD! And it was all my wife, well, ex-wife's fault that I hate women!" He wasn't so quiet anymore, he was yelling. Everyone was looking at him, slowly walking away.

"I'm so sorry, I had no-" I tried to finish my sentence, but he cut me off.

"Stop it! Leave at once!" He exclaimed. "She was never found, and that happened 30 years ago." He muttered to himself as he walked away.

I ran out of the office as fast as I could. I didn't want to be in there any longer. I just wanted to go home now.
