When the doors to their practice room slid open, Andromeda thought they would all fight until their deaths. After all, what were a few small and unprepared Jedi children going to do against an army of clones?
But it hadn't been an army of clones. Instead it was one of the masters she greatly appreciated. How he had always made the small child laugh when she was near and when she would sometimes pick flowers for him or for Padmé, whom she thought to be his friend. Anakin Skywalker was someone that Andromeda (Maia for short), looked up to and respected.
So when he struck the first child down with his light saber, her heart stopped. Her legs were unable to move. The only thing that seemed to be working for her seemed to be her eyes and the tears that streamed down them. Child after child. The flashing of the light saber, the color of his eyes.
And then those horrible eyes looked at her, the once respected master lifting his saber. Her legs suddenly decided to move and Maia lunged towards the glass window of the building, jumping out of it and falling through the air, her small child-like body impacting with the ground hard. Her vision blurred, black spots forming. But she could see all too clearly the figure of Master Skywalker standing at the now open window, looking at her before he swiftly spun away.
Maia tried to pick herself up, but she could not. Every part of her body ached and she had no feeling at all within her right leg. She could see the fight above and hear the screaming of innocent people being slaughtered. It drove her and pushed her to make her way out. The small blonde child began to drag herself across the ground, leaving a trail of dark crimson behind her. Moving like this only worsened how she felt, but she knew if she didn't escape that she would soon be dead and unable to feel. She was a shaking and terrified child attempting to escape.
Maia didn't know how long she had been crawling, but her body eventually gave out and she rolled over and onto her back, looking at the stars above her, which were slightly clouded by distant smoke. Eventually, her eyelids closed and the world around her turned into complete darkness...
Maia's eyes eventually reopened, but this time she saw no stars or smoke. She saw a blurred figure standing above her, talking about her vitals.
"She's alive! Last I heard, all the Jedi in the temple had been wiped out." Claimed a figure from that was not in her field of vision.
"We can't tell the rest of the Jedi yet. I don't want anyone coming back and trying to kill her. Hernando, put her in cyrostatis. We'll come back when it's safe." The one above her said, grabbing the female. The last thing she remembered was being placed onto a soft chamber, a glass door shutting overhead and making noises around her. Then the blurs disappeared and it was darkness again.

Her eyes were flooded with bright light, as the child fell to the floor and gasped in the air around her, as if she hadn't breathed in years. Her wide and pure black eyes (with no pupils) had tears emerging from them, as if she was still in the moment of the attack. In her brain, she still was. Maia could see a figure on her right side, but she was too busy laying on the floor in pain.
"The Jedi Temple is under attack! Master Skywalker came inside and...he...he killed them all. The other children... You have to hurry there and rescue anyone else!" Came her small child voice as she cried on the ground, body violently shaking. The figure beside her was male, a human male. He looked to be mid-forties with a scruffy beard and a few grey hairs showing.
"Relax, young padawan. I am Grandmaster Kirt of the Jedi Order, and the events you are describing happened 308 years ago."
