The weekend came, and I would worry about my assignment on Monday.I decided to go on a run and explore the city, after all, I had been in Japan for only a little under a month. I waited for the elevator to stop at the lobby. I raced out as the doors began to open, but I ran into someone, nearly bumping them over.

"Damn elevator girl, watch were you're going."

I looked up.

"Oh my god, I'm sorry Austin, I-"

He giggled at the serious tone in my voice."I was kidding."

"Oh.", I blushed, embarrassed.

"So what's going on today? Going for a jog?"

I nodded at my obvious work out clothes.

"I just got back from the gym myself", he said looking down at his basketball shorts and hoodie.We grew quiet.It was hard to talk to Austin.First because he had been my crush for so many years.Second, because he was my boss, no matter how hard he tried not to be.

"Hey listen Ellie, why don't we get some lunch later? We barely know each other, and we work together."

I nodded.

"I can come pick you up", you said."Floor 7, right?", and I internally face palmed myself immediately after i spoke.I wasn't supposed to know that.

He giggled.

"Ya.Room 74."

"Okay.I'll be there at noon."

"Perfect."
