Are You Drunk?

"Harry!" He heard as he put his phone up to his ear.

"Yes, Hermione?" Harry said in an annoyed tone. She had woken him up with the call at 2:33 am.

"Oh, sorry! Did I wake you?" Hermione asked, apologetically.

"No, you didn't." Harry lied. "Now, what is it that you called me for?"

"Right!" Hermione replied, "So, I was invited to this party and I was told I could bring a friend. Would you like to come with me?"

It was most likely to celebrate the break from school coming up. It lasted for a week and four days, so everybody was quite excited.

"Sure, what kind of party is it?" Harry asked, hoping it was a small one. He didn't exactly love being around a lot of people at once.

"I'm not sure, actually." Hermione said. "I'll ask Pansy about it in the morning."

Pansy? If Pansy invited Hermione, it was probably some party that had alcohol, dancing, and plenty of sweaty teenagers. Harry didn't really know Pansy, except for the fact that she fancied Draco. It was obvious with the way she acted around him. Just the thought of the two being together made Harry jealous, even if he didn't realize it was jealousy.

"Alright." Harry said with a hint of disappointment in his voice.

"Okay, the party is tonight at eight." Hermione said, matter-of-factly. "It's at Pansy's and I'll show you the way. It's actually quite close to your house."

"Alright, Hermione. I'll see you then." Harry said, tiredly, "Good night."

     Harry yawned.

"Good night!" Hermione said, much more excited. The only reason Harry was going is, because he didn't want to leave Hermione to go alone. Plus, the two were best friends.

"What have I gotten myself into?" Harry said aloud to himself. His foster parents would never let him go to a party with alcohol. Of course, he wasn't sure there would be alcohol there, but the chances were quite high. He'd never actually drank alcohol before. He was a bit horrified to do that for the first time in his life. It couldn't be more that bad, could it? He was probably overreacting. Was he?

Harry soon fell back asleep. He could worry about everything later. He was honestly very tired after the events of the previous day.

When Harry woke up again it wasn't because his alarm had gone off. It wasn't because it was the natural time that he woke up. It was because of his phone going off repeatedly with text alerts.

"Ugh." Harry rolled over and put his glasses on after grabbing them from his bedside table. He normally wore contacts, but he wasn't going to put them on just to read some texts at 4:24 am. Once he picked up his phone, he unlocked it and went to his messages. He had about nine from an unknown number that wasn't that hard to guess its owner. Especially with texts telling him to back off of Draco and to screw some other fag. Gregory. Harry sighed before sitting up and stretching while letting out a tired yawn. He probably wasn't going to be able to go back to sleep.

Harry got out of bed to grab his laptop off his desk. Once he got back to his bed, he opened it and went straight to Tumblr. It was his getaway from life, but mainly his school life. He didn't dislike school. He was just not fond of everyone at the school. For example, Gregory Goyle.
