AN: Here's the first part of the next chapter. I'm just having problems getting the dang picture on. I'll see if I can do it tomorrow.

Shizuko opened her eyes the next morning and blinked to clear the haze from them. She was still in the foul mood she had gone to sleep with. Lying there for a moment, she recalled the events that had happened yesterday afternoon and evening. Everything had been fine for the most part. Her brother and sisters had started to teach her how to say their names in "humaneze". Everything started to go down hill when everyone else had wanted to teach her their names. Then everything had started go wrong when that idiot flame retardent (Natsu) just wouldn't leave her alone; being an all out pest. She had growled a warning, but he just ignored her and continued on with what he was doing. With all that and still mourning the loss of her mother, her patience had snapped and she bit him hard. That had earned her a smack on the backside and an early bedtime from MiraJane; right after supper.

Growling quietly she rolled to the side to stand up and promptly fell off whatever she was on. She had been placed on a cot, and not on the ground like she was used to. She got up with another growl and walked outside to see Lightening, her brother and sister already up and having breakfast. When MiraJane reached out to pick her up, Shizuko moved out of her reach, still mad at her for punishing her last evening. She still didn't understand why.

"I need to go for a walk to think things out. I won't be too long or that far away." Dancer came running up to her side and the two ran off in to the woods as MiraJane looked at Shizuko with shock and concern. Lightening sighed and explained things to the Strauss sibling. Shizuko and Dancer ran until they came to a small stream where they stopped for a minute before the young girl plopped to the ground, sitting down rather roughly.

"Dancer, I don't know if I can do this. Go back to the human world I was born in to! It's so confusing already." Shizuko grumbled after a moment.

"And I will be right there with you sister. I will have to get used to the human with you myself. And I won't leave you." Dancer answered, placing a gentle paw in her leg.

"Thank you Dancer. I'm glad mother allowed you to be with me. I don't know if I could do this without you." Shizuko replied and rubbed against her brother in affection and acceptance as wolves do.

They sat there for a little while, just enjoy the sound of the running water in the creek and the warmth of the sunshine. After about an hour, they stood up and headed back to the campgrounds, ready for whatever was going to happen next.

Back at the campground

"Lightening, I don't understand why Shizuko is still in a bad mood. If it's about her punishment for what she did to Natsu, she needed to be corrected." MiraJane replied with a heavy sigh.

"I think part of that is she's still a little stiff and sore. I think you are right, but I also know that Natsu kind of earned that bite. He wouldn't leave her alone." Lightening answered.
