Doctor Johnson walks quickly across the hallways of the hospital. She was just about to leave
the office when she got notice that a suicide patient woke up. She was now standing in front of
the patients door.
This is the famed patient #101 who survived a jump off the Golden Gate Bridge. No one believed
she would even make it a full day, but here she is, woken up from a coma with a body of broken
bones.
Doctor Johnson took a deep breath and walked into the room.
"Hi, Rachel. I am Doctor Johnson. How are you feeling?" she says.
"Where is Lana?" Rachel says, staring straight forward.
Doctor Johnson gave Rachel a confused look and said, "Who's that?"
"The girl who jumped with me . . . Lana!" Rachel yelled.
Doctor Johnson reviewed Rachel's files once again. Had she missed something? Who was this
Lana? And that's when Johnson realized that this is not just any suicide patient. This patient has
the rare Schizophrenia II, which can cause a person to imagine the presence of another human
being.
