interview time. time to announce the break up of one of the most legendary couples I've ever known. Jesy and Jake. This was going to cause so much drama. I could only begin to imagine the chaos...

"You aren't going to tell them why he broke up with you?" I asked while I stood with Jesy, waiting to go on air at Capital.

"The plan is to say we didn't agree on children. It's the easiest thing I can think of. He wasn't ready for children. I was. Is that a good enough excuse?"

I bit my lip, then really thought about it.

"I'm not sure, Jes... What would Jake say?" I asked.

"I don't bloody care what he'll say. He dumped me for some girl he met. But it looks like I've found someone as well." She said, grabbing good of my hand.

"I love you Jesy. We'll figure this all out. I promise."

She smiled, then kissed my cheek.

"You girls ready?" Leigh asked, fixing the sleeves of her shirt.

"As ready as we'll ever be.." I mumbled, taking a deep breath.

"We're going on air in 5 minutes. May I take you girls to your seats?" asked a young man with a name tag that read Mik.

"Yes, we're ready." I said, nodding.
Never have I been this nervous at an interview before. And then, it isn't me who should be nervous. Jesy is the one with that weight on her shoulders...

And I was going to have her back the entire time.

"Hello, girls! I'm Andrea, I'm filling in today for your interview. It's very nice to meet all of you!" A young brunette introduced as we entered the room.

"Very nice to meet you!" Jade returned with a smile.

We took our seats as usual, and adjusted the microphones to our satisfaction.

Jesy decided to sit next to me, so I could hold her hand if her anxiety got bad during the interview. It's very common for Jesy's anxiety to misbehave during an interview. I usually hold her hand to calm her done. It usually works. And I get to the pleasure of holding her hand all at the same time, so it's sort of like a win win situation.

"Ready girls?" Andrea asked, slipping on her headphones.

"Of course!" Leigh and Jade replied back.

"Alright then, here we go!" Andrea exclaimed, tapping away on her keypad on the desk.

"Hello everyone! I'm here today with the lovely ladies of Little Mix! How are you doing today, ladies?"

"Very good, thank you!" I said into the mic, flashing a smile.

"Ah, you girls look lovely today, as well!" Andrea complemented.

"Thank you!" Jade said sweetly.

"So, as I've heard, Glory Days has been a big hit so far down the line?" Andrea asked, resting her chin in the palm of her right hand.

"It is, actually. We're so proud of the album. We've put much effort into it, and we love seeing the mixers reactions to all of the music. It's just been an amazing experience with this album." Leigh said, confident as ever.

"That's great! And may I ask, has Glory Days seemed to break through in America?"

"Well, as of what we've seen, American Mixers have had a huge part in the selling of the album. They seem to love the music, and that really makes us so proud to see that we are successful there too." Leigh explained.

"I'm sure American Mixers are loving the album, girls. Such inspiring and upbeat music. Very very nice."

"Thank you!" Jade and Leigh Anne said at the exact same time.

"Perrie and Jesy aren't very chatty today, are they not?" Andrea joked, gazing at us.

I have a small laugh, then gazed at Jesy, who put on a faint grin.

"So last night, you four were at the Akonne Nightclub?" She asked.

Oh no..

"Yes, we were." I said into the mic.

Jesy gazed at me, and I could see the fear in her eyes.

"And, Ms. Edwards, you left the club crying? I don't mean to be nosy, but, you're ok?" She asked.

"Of course! Just got a bit tipsy, if you know what I mean." I gave off a small wink and a fake laugh.

"I completely understand! We're all very glad you're alright."

"Thank you." I replied with a smile.

"So, Ms. Nelson! How are things with you and Mr. Roche?" Andrea asked with excitement in her eyes.

Here it goes...

"Well, Jake and I are actually...um...apart."

"Apart?" Andrea asked, sitting up in her chair.

"Yes. The engagement has been sadly cancelled due to personal issues." She said bravely.

God, I'm so proud of her...

"I'm so sorry to hear that, Ms. Nelson. I wish you the best of luck with everything." She replied nicely.

Jesy did it. She got it out. But this wasn't the end of course. The word would spread like wildfire. They would ask why they broke up. Jesy would tell. And hopefully the breakup doesn't linger around for too long...

I could barely even eat lunch after the interview. Jade had gotten us burgers from a local restaurant about 10 minutes away from Leigh's home. As much as I truly loved it, I was too upset to eat. I kept gazing over at Perrie, who was as beautiful as ever. Her blonde hair was tied into a messy bun, with a few strands falling at the sides. Her white tank top glowed against her freckled skin. Her beautiful blue eyes glimmered everytime she laughed. She's so beautiful that it's barely even real.

"Jes, you aren't going to eat?" Perrie asked, with a concerned look in her eye.

"Sorry, I'm just not super hungry, I guess." I said with a small grin.

She got up, and kissed my cheek from behind.

"I love you." She whispered into my ear. My body shuddered in delight.

"I love you too." I whispered back, kissing her cheek.

"Get a roooom." Leigh teased.

"Ahh, stop it you." Perrie giggled, throwing a balled up napkin at Leigh.

I giggled, then put my food away in the fridge for later. Perrie stopped me in the kitchen, and crossed her arms with a small grin.

"So I'm guessing I'm your girlfriend, now?" She asked.

I smiled, then grabbed her waist.

"What do you think?" I asked, kissing her forehead.

She smiled, then tucked a loose piece of my hair behind my ear.

"I'm so proud of you for what you did today."

"You are?" I asked.

"Of course. You were so brave."

"Well, brave is my middle name.." I joked, realizing how stupid that actually sounded.

I was brave because Perrie was with me, of course. Without her, I would've been a complete wreck. Maybe this was meant to be. Maybe Jake and I weren't soulmates as I thought...

This sucks so much guys...But clearly you guys like this!! I love you all so much. The comments I'm getting make me smile so much, and I've decided to continue this for all of you. Thank you so much guys. Happy New Year. I love you all :)
