Chapter 7

Bang, bang, bang!!!

There was a pounding on my window an hour after I fell asleep.

Bang,  bang,  bang!!!

"What! What could you possibly want! " I rolled over and realized that,  that sound was coming from my window and I'm on the second floor.

I slowly walked to my window and removed the blackout curtains and find....

"Samuel?" I opened my window.  "What are you doing? And why are you at my window.  I have a front door.  Also it's three in the morning... On a school night you evil person!" I said laughing.  I don't know why I was being so nonchalant with him. Maybe it was because I was only still just waking up. 

"Hey sorry can I stay here the rest of the night? " He said climbing through my window. He was wearing his pajamas too. 

"Um,  sure?  Why? Everything alright and how do you know where I live? "

How did he get here and why? Also the Spiderman pajamas are a riot!

"Well I'm here because some hunters broke into my house,  luckily my folks left for the next two weeks and I was alone.  Anyways,  hunters broke in and I heard your thoughts. So you were like a beacon of light leading me to safety. And thank you for liking my Spiderman pajamas.  They came as a set at Target. "

"Oh well thank you for continuously reading my mind.  I'm going back to bed." I climbed in bed and turned around and felt him crawl in next to me.

"Don't mind me,  I'm just going to sleep here. " He said with a goofy smile on his face.

"Excuse me this is my bed."

"After the thoughts you had about me,  you should be happy I'm in your bed. " I felt my face get so red. 

"That's not fair! "

"Is too neener neener. Ow!  You kicked me! What was that for! "

"Ha!  Neener neener. " I stuck my tongue out at him. "Go to sleep Samuel. We have school tomorrow. "

"Alright night." I felt him turn over to his side and giggle. "You think I'm handsome. "

"Shut up! " I had to admit though I liked having him there with me. I fell asleep a few minutes later and so did he.

"Good morn-ahhhhhh!!!!! I'm sorry!  I'll leave! Next time tell me when you have a boy over Lil's!!!!! " As my Uncle walked in a shielded his eyes from what he believed to be some evil sin.

"What! No! " I shoved Sameul of my bed as he fell to the floor with a thump.

"Ow! "

"Open your eyes dinkus!  We weren't doing anything! "

"No!  I'm scared! "

"The man's wearing spider man pajamas!  Nothing to be afraid of!"

"I'm trusting you..." He spread his fingers and opened one eye to find Sameul crawling on the floor back to the warm bed because it's cold in my room.

"Sorry I was being hunted last night sir. And Lilith was kind enough to let me sleep here." Sameul turned to look at me.  "Did he say Lil's?"

"Yes,  that's my normal nickname.  So, I guess just call me Lil's or even Lilly. "

"Well breakfast is ready.  I'm just going to go. Get ready for school kiddo. " My Uncle left so awkwardly that Samuel laughed when he did. 

"Do you have a shower I can use? "

"Uh yeah,  right through that door. "

"You have a bathroom in your room! Lucky! "

"Yeah,  just let me turn on my curling iron and plug in my plugs and you can shower. "

"Thanks Lil's. " Samuel said mockingly.

"Oh shut up...  Sammy! "

"Oh ew, stop.  No. "

"Oh what you don't like Sammy!  Hmmm Sammy. " I said poking him.
"And you're ticklish!" I saw him laughing so hard.  I couldn't help but love his laugh and smile.  They made my stomach turn in a good way.  "Now go shower dork. "

"Psh,  I will. "

"Good. "

"Fine! "

"I'll be right out. " he grabbed his backpack and went into the bathroom as I was walking out.  During that time I left to go tell my uncle that he needed to be home by the same time I was.  I went back up stairs and  started to get dressed.

"Hey,  do you... "

"Ahhh!  Look away!  I don't have a bra on!  " I screamed

"Sorry!" I heard him shut the bathroom door as fast as possible. My breathing got so fast it was ridiculous and my face was so red. 

I finally put my bra and Burgundy sweater on,  along with my blue skinny jeans, with my hightop Classic Vans. 

"Alright you can come out creep! " I watched Samuel open the door and peek his head out to make sure the coast was clear. "I'm dressed now get out so I can do my hair. "

"For a shy girl you sure are bossy. " I grabbed a pillow and threw it at him.

"Am not.  I just want to get my morning routine done and get the day over with.  There's a difference. "

"Get ready jeez, we're going to be late Lil's. Psh."

I finished getting ready and left for my car after getting the usual waffle for breakfast and putting two Monster cans in my bag.

"Do you want one?"

"Sure!" I handed him one. 

"Alright let's go.  We need to get to school.  Uuuggghhhh. " We headed out to my car and Samuel said,

"This is your car? What? "

"Um yeah,  what about it? "

"Oh nothing spoiled brat."

"Well then,  in that case,  walk to school. " I got in the car and turned on  the song Wait by M83. Samuel followed in on the passenger side.

"You like M83! That's my favorite band!  My favorite song has to be Midnight City. " He seemed so excited that it made me happy. 

"It'll probably play next. So we can listen to it on the way.  He's cute and listens to M83, oh my."

"You know if you like me just say so." I immediately turned up the radio and mouthed I can't hear you what did you say?  Sooorrryyyyy" I felt the look on his face after that. 

Finally we got to school,  but something wasn't right....
