Darkness Within

Chapter Four

" What happened?" He asked. He started to sit up on my bed. "Aahhhh ow! What the hell is this!" He started to poke his stomach. "Ahhh! Why! Ugh, my stomach is soar!" He screamed.

"Just lay back down, you need to sleep for awhile. Then tomorrow we start your training so sleep now." I said.

I'm starting to feel like I'm mothering him around on this....ugh

"But its only seven o'clock," he said.

"Good, sleep now."

"Bu-" I cut him off and put him to sleep with the snap of my fingers. As soon as he fell asleep I couldn't help but laugh at his reaction a few moments ago.I changed into my superman sweater and superman big fleece pants and decided to go to bed myself, but I slept on the couch. I woke up the next morning with an ache in my back from sleeping on the uncomfortable gray couch. I got up to go check on my uncle to wake him up and he wasn't on my bed.

"Uncle?" I called his name and then, just then I heard snoring. I look up on the ceiling only to find him there. His long black claws digging into my ceiling making him hang there. I snapped my fingers and he woke up.

"What the! Ahhh!" He fell onto my bed with a loud thud. "What the hell are these!" He screamed. He started to feel his new wings. Are these bat wings?" He asked.

"Yes, they're to protect you, and or another person. They are extremely strong, and can be used as a weapon against our enemies. I will be training you how to use them today. After we eat breakfast of course." I said giving him a punch on the shoulder. "Come on let's go." I said still in my superman pajamas. I put on my vans and walked out. He got off my bed and we walked down stairs. I grabbed my purse and keys then we walked out to my car. I made sure his wings were down and they were.

"Where are we going for breakfast?" He asked.

"Let's go to the Mile High Café, we haven't been there in a long time. Plus it is 8:30 A.M they are serving specials," I laughed.

"Cheap-ass, wait don't you have school today?" He asked.

"Yes, but I need to start on training you. I will go tomorrow." We got to the Mile High Café and I parked. When we walked inside we were greeted by a blonde woman who was only a little taller than me.

"Hello my lovlies! What can I do for y'all today?" She was very kind. So we ordered our drinks and our food. The Mile High Café was at an airport and right in front of the train tracks. We watched the planes drop to the floor making a screetching sound from the rubber hitting the ground. It was a nice setting, just pretty in a way to look at.

The blonde lady brought out our food and we ate. As soon as she left I said.

"Don't take one bite yet," I walked over to him and pushed really hard on a certain spot on his back, until I heard a loud pop. I saw his eyes get wide. "It will keep your wings from spreading while you eat. What I did was lock them, I only did it so you can learn to control them and so you don't expose us to the world." I said fixing my gauges because I didn't soak them last night. They were irritating me so I went to the restroom to wash them and my ears. I went back out the table my uncle and I were sitting at and he was gone. "Fuck," I paid and ran out to find him. I first drove home because he left the car. I went to the pentagram that was on my floor and used the blood soaked sheets my uncle left on my bed as a track to find him. He was in hell.... "Mother fucker! Why!" I did my usual routine and went to go see Luci. Whence I saw his face I stomped over to him and screamed "what the hell, he still has another 30 days,"

Luci gave me a mischievous smile. "My dear did you really think I was going to let you keep your pet without a fight?" I saw four giant demons come from the fire of hell and run for my uncle I ran to him really fast and unlocked his wings. His power is one thing but his wings are a very powerful weapon. His karate lessons weren't going to help him now. But I saw something spark. He was catching fire. He had the power of fire one of the strongest powers.

What the hell? How did he find his power so fast? What's going on? I thought to myself in confusion. Why? How is he doing that so early? I watched him with a look of anger and go after Luci with his giant wings and fire spewing everywhere. My uncle some how got ahold of him and threw him.I had to stop that so the treaty would not be broken. Luci and I signed a treaty for me as a succubus can't hurt him because I am the strongest creature he has. I can hurt and kill him but sometimes the world needs a little evil in it.

My uncle came to me after all was done, "What the hell was that! How did you discover your power already?" I asked him. He gave me a shrug.

"It just came to me, I just felt all this anger I haven't been able to release, all that's been pent up in side. I felt like the incredible Hulk," he said flexing. "Paul SMASH!" I couldn't help but laugh.

"Okay let's go home the Incredible Paul," I grabbed him with my wings and flew up. We were back in my room. "Holy shit it's midnight... Get out... I need to shower," I told him and he left. I showered and did my normal routine and put on my favorite v-neck tee with a gray pocket on it and boxers, yes they are comfy as pajamas. I took out my plugs and went to sleep. I then suddenly had a terrible nightmare....
