Chapter: 2
"Oh my nugget."
"Good morning Mom, Dad" I say as I enter the kitchen ignoring Alec.
I sit in my seat and see Mom has already served me a plate of scrambled eggs, two pieces of yummy bacon, and a biscuit.
"Good morning to you too honey" Mom says with a smile.
"Are you not going to say good morning to me?" Alec directs the question towards me. Simply shaking my head I answer "no."
I'm not so hungry after I eat my two pieces of bacon and the biscuit. I gather up my plate and cup that was filled with Tampico and put them in the dish washer. I open a cabinet of pure plastic container, "Mom, is there still a little bit of pasta left from yesterday?"
"Yes, there is some in the refrigerator" she replies from the table. Out of the refrigerator I take the bowl that had left over pasta and serve some into the plastic container before putting on its lid and putting it carefully in my bag pack. As I walk out the door I wave bye to my parents.
This morning I had woken up with a small headache. I'm not sure if it was from when I had fallen or if it was just a headache. I had decided taking a nice hot shower would help it but it only helped a little. Right now though, the pain is subsiding. My hair is down from its pony tail so that away I won't get another headache. I'm currently wearing grey pocket tie waist pants that look like joggers with my black Vans and a black slogan print drop shoulder sweatshirt that has the words 'I'M TOO TIRED, DON'T TALK TO ME.' On the front of it, in big bold white letters.
I back out of the drive way on my motorcycle and head for school. Alec still hasn't gotten into his car since he was taking out the trash. It's what he does on Tuesdays and Fridays.
School is only about two or three streets down from where I live so it only takes me like five minutes to get here. I pull up in the parking lot and park my motorcycle in its usual place. Ignoring the people who can't simply mind their own business, I walk into school.
"Rosalie!"
I turn left into the main hall where all the lockers are at, where mine is at but someone called my name from down the hall. After I put my things up I don't quite close my locker all the way. To my right Flynn crashes into me with a hug. A warm nice hug.
"What happened? You didn't call me 'later' last night" Flynn say stepping away and returning my personal space.
"Sorry, its cause my brother and his two dweebs of friends made me slip on water. I fell and hit my backside and head pretty hard." I explain and all I get is a sympathetic smile from Flynn.
"I'm glad that you're okay" he says and I smile as I reopen my locker to take out the pasta that is in the container then close my locker.
"I better get to class before the bell rings" Flynn speaks again.
I turn to face him, "alright I should get going to before students crumple in." He nods once before turning around the opposite hallway. "Flynn, wait" I call out. Something isn't right, I can tell because it is evident on his adorable face.
