Mason meets his eyes with mine and smiles. He starts to walk over to my table and waves at me.
"Hey London! Nice seeing you here isn't it." He winks.
"Uhhh London who the hell is this guy?" Bryant stands up from the table and is now face to face with Mason.
Mason still smirks. He does not look afraid of Bryant not one bit. He walks past Bryant and wraps his arm around me.
"I just wanted to talk to my friend is that wrong?" Mason gives Bryant the deadliest smirk.
"Bryant just calm down. This is Mason everyone. He is in one of my classes at school and I met him today." I smile to try and lighten the tension between the two boys.
Bryant sits down in defeat and doesn't speak, so as Leah and Lucas.
"So I wanted to ask you if you wanna hangout sometime this week?" Mason turns to me with the most charming smile. Bryant sets his drink down on the table hard and takes a deep breath.
"Sure! That sounds good."
"Lemme get your number so I could text you." Mason whips out his phone and snakes it into my hand. After dialing my number in, he smiles and walks out of the coffee shop.
"OH MY GOSHH! HE WAS SO CUTE LONDON!" Leah screams. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GOT HIS NUMBER!"
"Uhh yeah." I laugh nervously.
"We need to pick out an outfit for your first date!" She claps her hands together.
"Woah woah woah wait a minute." I laugh "First of all it's not a date, it's us friends hanging out together. Secondly how would you know if it was my first date." I say raising my eyebrow and crossing my arms.
The rest of the evening is Leah blabbering about me and Mason and our "date" and Lucas and Bryant are very very quiet. We finally decide to leave and Lucas takes all of us to Leah and I's place to watch movies and hangout there.
It's already 10:02 and we decided to watch a scary movie. I hate horror films but I didn't want to ruin the fun. Half way through the movie Leah and Lucas fall asleep leaving me and Bryant. He could tell by my facial expressions that I'm terrified. I hate this movie.
"AHHHH!" The character in the movie screams. I gasp and hide under the covers and shut my eyes. A few seconds later I feel the blanket starting to come off my face. I open my eyes to see Bryant pulling it down. He scoots in closer to me and wraps his muscly arms around me to keep me safe. I have that same feeling in my stomach just like before when he did this same thing on the plane, and I fall asleep in his arms once again.
The next morning I wake up to see Leah and Lucas taking pictures of me. I don't know why until I realize I am laying on Bryant's chest.
"Oh my god! Guys stop!" I get up quickly from the couch and try to grab both of their phones while they both laugh at me. They are both taller than me so they have an advantage.
I take out all the left overs in our fridge for everyone to heat up and eat. I tell Lucas to wake up Bryant while I go change and get ready for school. I don't really feel like eating. I'm too excited to see Mason again. I check my phone and I have two text messages. One from my mom and one from an unknown number.
Mom: Hey honey. How was your first day of college? Hope you had a great time :)
Me: College is going pretty well. I miss you guys all at home!
I go back and check the message from the other number while brushing my teeth.
Unknown: Hey London! It's Mason. Wanna hang after school today?
Me: Sounds good. Meet me after school outside.
I put his name on my contacts and go into my room and pick out a nice outfit today.

I put on a white tank top, blue jean shorts, a cardigan, black socks that go up to the middle of my shin and Adidas shoes. I quickly walk into Leah's room and go through her makeup and try and put some on for myself. I put on some mascara, a little bit of eyeshadow, and chapstick.
I go downstairs and Lucas and Bryant already left to go get ready.
"Hey I'm going to go get ready and then the boys should be back." Leah smiles. I nod my head and sit on the couch and turn on the tv. I have a while until school starts so I have some time to relax.
A few minutes later the boys walk in and we are on our way back to school. The classes were almost the same except a little bit more work.
It was now lunch and I sat at the same table as yesterday since I don't have a car to drive me out of this lot. I see Christina walking to our table with her tray of food. She gives me and evil smirk and "accidentally" drops all the food on her tray on me. My white shirt is stained with pizza sauce and my hair is sticky. I hear laughs from other tables and I haven't been this embarrassed in such a long time.
"Oops. London I am so sorry." She says it sarcastically.
I start to tear up and I get up from my seat quickly to turn and run away. But when I turn around I see a familiar body shape in front of me.
"Hey, let's get you cleaned up ok?" I look up to see the one and only Mason smiling at me. He grabs my hand in front of everyone, especially Bryant, and pulls me out of the room.
