"Eh? BoBoiBoy?" you called out, surprise lacing your tone when you saw the boy standing right outside the gate of your house early in the morning. "What are you doing out here?"

His face brightened when he saw you, "[Name]! You're home!" He ran towards you excitedly, enveloping you in a warm embrace, which took your breath away. You blinked twice, your body reacting weirdly towards the sudden closeness. For some reason, you couldn't explain this strange feeling.

Both of your parents were talented entrepreneurs, who conducted several businesses around the country. Their boss organized a project for them in the city of Ipoh, which they needed to finish, so they brought you along with them since there was no one else in the house who could look after you. You could say you spent your summer vacation in one of the most biggest cities in Malaysia.

Today was the last day of summer vacation, so you traveled back home at dawn, not expecting to see BoBoiBoy waiting for you outside your house. The problem is, you didn't bother to tell him about your situation, even though he was your friend, and you felt kind of guilty for it.

"How long have you been waiting here?" you asked, gently pushing away the dinosaur cap-wearing boy to look at him in the eye. He actually still wears the cap.

"I've been waiting for about an hour or two," BoBoiBoy scratched his cheek sheepishly, but his smile never wavered. In fact, it only widened. "But that's okay! The neighbors told me that you went out on a summer vacation and that, you were coming back today, so I woke up first thing in the morning to welcome you back!"

Your heart fluttered. Such a simple act of kindness touched you, and you placed a hand over your beating heart to calm it down.

You gazed at him lovingly, caressing his cheek with the back of your hand.

"BoBoiBoy... thank you."
