Chapter 3

We strolled into forever21 in our ripped, old, baggy clothes. Laura suggested that I start out at the tops so I went to a rack closest to the window. I picked out a ruffly tank top with a cat on it, and a sweater with a gold sparkly cross on the front. I then made my way to the bottoms, unaware of where Laura was. there was a pair of skinny jeans that were blue at the top, then bleached to white, and a pair of short shorts the same way. I decided to just buy both in the end. I got a white scarf with birds on it and a pair of flower high tops. "ok, Jenny, you almost done?" I jumped and turned around. "oh! yeah hold on," quickly I shuffled to the iPhone cases and saw one that was white with different black mustaches. we checked out, and a Guess store in the nearest mall was our next stop.

As laura and i walked into Guess, people looked at us with wierd facial expressions. They pointed and we just walked like we didn't notice. I felt like freaking crying. its not our fault we look this way! gosh! what the heck did they think they were looking at? I almost ran into the pole as I turned back around from looking at those people, I quickly skirted around it and Laura dragged me to the dresses. it was now her time to shop apparently. "Slow down girl!" I said but she just ignored me and we stopped right at a rack full of blue, white, and black short dresses, either cocktail or normal.

Laura went to try it on and I looked around at the engagement rings in the store right outside the door. they were so beautiful, ranging in prices from $50 to $735. something I could definately never afford in my lifetime. I could just imagine, you know, being in love with someone so much, that it doesn't matter how much money they have. it's seems like money does make you happy, even when it's not the reason.

I shook myself out of my daydream, when Laura yelled, "do ya like it?!!" from the inside of the store. wow, she looked so amazing, better than I would ever have in that ruffly skirted, black dress with a blue belt. "oh my God! Wes is going to love it so much!" I ran into the store and she got that dress, a pair of black heels, and sparkly blue earrings. "our dates are going to be sooo awesome!!!!" We screamed in unison and people stared at us, but we just laughed.

After we bought the clothes, we decided to hide the clothes in our purses, shoving them inso our parents wont see them. Laura put the groceries away and I ran up the stairs to text Keaton.

'Hey' I typed

"Hi! Jen! what's up?" he said

'Oh I just went with Laura to get date clothes,'

"Cool, you told her?"

'Yeah, she's not going to say anything, and I told her that me and you are going to tell Wes and Drew.'

"Mkay, so what time do u want me to pick you up?"I had to think for a while about that one.

'Umm, how about 3:30?'i suggested.

"Ok, I'll be there at ur house then" he said.

'K bye keatykat'

"Bye love"

Omg, he called me love, that's so adorable! he's not even British! I think I'm falling in love with Keaton, no doubt about it.
