Congratulations, Top 10! I am happy that you've reached this stage. The end is near, but every end has its beginning.
Endings... beginnings...
Let's get to business!
For the final round, we will do a throwback. We will relieve the past. We will look back to what happened before. Wait, it's not "we" but it's "you" who will do the throwback-ing.
Have something in mind already? Yes, you're right! Historical Fiction, it is.
- You are to write a one-shot story not less than 1,500 words and not more than 2,000 words.
- You can use any medium as long as it is understandable.
- Your piece's genre should be Historical Fiction mixed with any genre.
As added challenge for the Final rounds, we will have elements and requirements that should be physically present in your piece. It should have an important role in the piece.
Elements that should be present:
1. A vendor (of anything.)
2. A wooden stick.
3. A seven-year old girl who has her hair tied up in pigtails.
4. A broken picture frame.
5. Cumulus clouds.
ALL OF THESE SHOULD BE PRESENT. ABSENCE OF AN ELEMENT IS EQUIVALENT TO ONE POINT DEDUCTION.
Send your entries to: thewilsonfamilia5@gmail.com with "Title by Username_Finals" as the subject.
We will only accept entries until the 17th of January 2017. Good luck!
