Dean slipped the key into the lock, turned it and opened the door. He heaved a sigh of relief. All the demon hunting he had been doing for the past few weeks had taken quite a toll on Dean. He removed the key from the lock and slammed the door shut. Dean drop his duffel bag at his feet and flicked on the light switch. As soon as he had flicked on the switch he knew he wasn't alone. He reached for the knife in his back pocket and slowly turned his head.

" Jesus, Cas!" Dean shouted, letting himself relax as he saw his friend. He dropped his hand from his back pocket and shoved it in his front pocket.

" I apologize, Dean. I thought you had seen me," Cas replied innocently. Cas had been staying in the Winchester household. He had been patiently waiting for Dean on the stairs for a majority of the day. Cas had thought Dean would have been pleased to see him ,not agitated.

" Have you eaten anything yet?" Dean asked, a hint of concern for his new human friend hidden in his voice. Cas chewed on his lower lip and looked at his feet. Cas had meant to make something for himself but he had been so preoccupied with Dean's arrival he had forgotten to.

" I was going to make pasta; I forgot to. Forgive me Dean." Cas said, sounding a little disappointed with himself.

" Well... fine just come help me make something then." Dean replied a little annoyed with Cas.
