Cas stared, in awe yet again, as Dean scarfed down his second plate of pasta. Dean glanced up occasionally at Castiel, who only after half a plate claimed he was full. Castiel looked down at his own plate, felt ashamed that he couldn't eat as much as his friend. When Cas looked up from his plate he noticed Dean had pasta cause on the corner of his lip.

" Dean, you appear to have something- um here," Castiel said. He pushed his chair back and rose from the table. When he got over to Dean, Castiel cupped Dean's chin and lifted his face upwards. Using his thumb to wipe away the sauce, Castiel felt something he hadn't felt before for his friend. As Cas went to sit back in his chair, Dean was baffled by his friends odd yet kind gesture. He shrugged it off, not thinking it might lead to much more.

After the dishes were cleared, washed and put away the boys went off to do their own thing. Cas said he had some things to straiten out, so taking the opportunity Dean decided to have a bath. He turned on the tap, added some bubbles and began to undress. Dean stripped himself of his shirt, flinging the sweat filled thing at his feet. He removed his socks, jeans and boxers. Dean turned off the water and entered the bath tub slowly. He let out a sigh of pleasure, pleased that he was finally able to relax. But that feeling did not last long, before there were four soft knocks on the bathroom door.
